I used to use this restaurant years ago. I don’t know why I stopped. Anyway ordered tonight and I was blown away. Absolute perfection. Kicking myself for all the disappointing Indian takeaways I’ve had recently. So happy to have reminded myself about this place. Superb!!

We travel from Roker to Sonargow to get our food as it is one of the best take aways in Sunderland. We have tried all the local Indian's, but found them either poor quality or poor value for money. The service is excellent and the portions are very generous. The chicken is cooked very well and is not dry like a lot of the places we have tried. Well done to the staff.Tony.

Possibly the most bland Indian we have ever had, very little flavour in the curry. The chicken pakora was just dough/bread with a tiny piece of chicken in, not crispy at all. The naan was greasy and bland. The chips tasted like cardboard, actual cardboard not an exaggeration. Avoid this place if you want something tasty. The only reason is didn’t get a one star is cos the poppadoms were ok.

Ordered a chilli chicken masala came covered in full onions, ordered the same dish from about 5 different places always comes the same why wouldn’t you have the ingredients and what it comes with written as a description.

Ordered for delivery twice now, both times was delivery within the time stated. Food is absolutely beautiful especially the masalla!! Tonight chips were missing from our order when I rang up the man was extremely polite and offered to either deliver the chips or make a note of the address on the system and next time we’d get them for free, the spicy chips we had ordered too, and received, are too spicy for me so I asked for them to be delivered accepting that there would be a wait for the delivery driver. Then gentleman who I spoke to then actually delivered the chips for us himself!! Can’t really ask for a better service than that on top of the fact the food is also so good!

Has remained consistently the best emporium of spiced delights in Sunderland. I’ve been an avid enthusiast for well over ten years. Mr. Nazrul and his team of spice masters can indeed craft a vast array of delicious savoury creations to get your mouth full of excited feelings. Just this very evening I sampled a bold dish that was all the fun.
