We had a lovely meal for my birthday tonight. Food was gorgeous, staff were very helpful and accommodating with my husband's wheelchair. Lovely quiet area. Had a really nice time. Thank you to all.Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from.

Big fan of farm house inn's. Cakes are always a must have of of course carvery. Service tho could have been better. Ordered on the app and had to ask for carvery ticket and then didn't get what we had paid for and no check back either. Shame really as farmhouse inn's are usually pretty good. Might not be back to this one tho.

Visited for Sunday lunch. Queue for carvery was ridiculous. The issue was that people were only using the first section of veg then moving onto the second which was exactly the same! All it would take is a member of staff to tell people that both veg sections are the same and to move up! The queue would have gone down twice as quick. Staff nice. Food good but there was a ceiling fan above our table and it made our food go cold faster than we could eat it.

Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere and great choice of foods. The service was a little slow but we went on a Sunday so it was quite busy. Friends enjoyed the carvery and thought there were loads of options available. Portion sizes for the prepared food were massive and very flavourful. Defiantly worth getting some of their cakes - just be warned they are huge and you will probably want to share.

We have been here a few times over the years, so knew it was pretty much a fail safe. We called without booking and when we arrived it was very busy, however, only had to wait 10 minutes for a table, Both of us had a carvery which didn't disappoint, we had standard size which I would say is more than enough, choice of 4 meats and a great choice of vegetables. I would definitely recommend the Oak Tree Farm for your carvery ?

On a recent visit I noticed a poster up advertising bingo and lunch in aid of MacMillan. Thought it was a great idea, so myself and 2 guests booked up for the event today. We weren't disappointed, a lovely atmosphere. Food was delicious, soup, carvery then apple crumble or ice-cream for dessert and a couple of games of bingo included. We couldnt fault the service, friendliness of staff and no pressure to donate extra money, but we did anyhow because we had such a great time. We will be back for the next event in Dec, if not before.
Visited here on a Friday evening as a party of 3. Big shout out to the ‘red team’ who were absolutely spot on in terms of service, friendliness and overall liking after the customer. Special thanks to Brooklyn who was really patient with my complicated order and use of vouchers/coupons. Thanks

Despite is still being the summer holidays we were seated straight away. Carvery was spot on as usual, as was the craic with Stu, never fails to put a smile on my face. We were served by a new face at the bar…I want to say his name was Jamie?! He was very polite and efficient for being a newbie! And lastly the kids were served by the lovely Brooklyn for their ice creams. Lovely meal all round

I had an emergency situation (Greggs coffee machine was broken) and immediately came here for my caffeine fix! Seriously though, when I came here I was desperately in need of a good coffee to get me through my morning. I ordered my cappuccino then realised I did not have my purse on me (as I usually pay Greggs via the app). I was quite frazzled and the manageress Katie recognised this and despite not having the money to immediately pay, she made me my cappuccino and allowed me to come back later to pay. I was quite touched by this and extremely appreciative so wanted to highlight this person-centred service and kindness as she did not have to do this at all, This was so hugely appreciated Katie, thank you for your kindness.

Staff are all so lovely and go above and beyond, lad on bar was very polite, friendly, and professional, repeating and checking our order (as we have a few fussy members) the girls who brought our food and the lad on the carvery were also great! Our favourite place to come for food, especially the carvery
