Attended a birthday party in the function room. Pre ordered meals as we were a large group. The service was very good, friendly atmosphere and nothing too much trouble. Everything went according to plan. Many thanks to Karen and her staff. Would recommend.

Amazing lunch, we all had the Turkey lunch, nothing at all on the plate disappointed, Tasty meat and amazing vegetables, Huge portions, this along with lovely staff, a great feast.

BRILLIANT JUST BRILLIANT!!! Came here with my lovely friend for lunch...We had the £10.75 meal deal.I had the chicken liver pate and The primavera pasta washed down with an orange gin nd a latte.Absolutely gorgeous.The dark haired waitress always makes our day...sorry don't know her name but she has a grandson and is just the friendliest nicest lady.We will be back soon we love it here worth every penny!!

Went for lunch with a family friend. I had spaghetti bolognaise and my friend had the fish and chips. Great food, great staff, great service and the place has a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Decided to give it a go here with my bestie for our monthly lunch date and wish we hadn’t bothered. Tuna sarnie was 2 white, stale slices of basic cheap bread, very thin layer of tuna and a slice of lettuce, 1 slice of tomato and cucumber. It was horrid. My friend ordered a pizza and it was cold and greasy/tasteless. Table was sticky and in general the room didn’t look clean. Wont be back.

Took my Mam for afternoon tea yesterday - it was absolutely lovely. So worth the money ? the staff and service werebrilliant. We couldn’t eat it all, so they kindly boxed it up for us. Would highly recommend ?
Visited here for years, never any issue with food or service. Last 12 months or so has been extremely poor when we have visited. Tonight - waited 60 minutes for food (a pizza), walked out with no food and paid for drinks only - many followed. Abysmal service - 7 tables in so wasn’t busy despite the excuse of “only one chef in” - how many do you want for 7 covers? This is the third time I’ve said “never again”, and this time I mean it. Didn’t want to give one star for food on this visit despite not receiving food as it is usually good. Sort the staffing issues out and maybe mention when customers are ordering that there will be a considerable wait! Was charged for one of the two drinks as an apology. I’d rather have been told one hour wait for food as I wouldn’t have bothered like the other tables in there tonight.

The 3 Shannon’s were great, really helpful and couldn’t do enough. Shannon (Douglas) was our waitress and she was lovely and Shannon (Clark) was so helpful. Shannon (the chef) coped really well on a busy night.

My son and I visited for food after we’d been to the football, I rang ahead to check there was a table and luckily there was as I know it gets busy, everything was perfect and the manageress greeted us, sat us down and was very polite and friendly then we were served by waitress Beth who was very helpful and made sure we were well looked after she was very professional and friendly. We ordered drinks and then 2 sirloin steaks, shared a Diane sauce and I’m not exaggerating when I say these steaks were PERFECT! Cooked exactly how we wanted, juicy, fresh and full of flavour, the sauce was beautiful and the chips were big and chunky almost like roast potatoes. The chef Mel really knows her job and even came out to greet us as luckily we managed to grab the last 2 sirloins (it was close to closing time). Overall it was a perfect experience and we highly recommend you try it as you won’t be disappointed.

Had a delicious lunch with my friend today..I had pate to start followed by a green veg creamy pasta...both were really delicious and only £10.75 for both.Lovely place lovely staff and lovely food!!!Had a lemon gin and a latte...absolutely perfect.We will definitely be returning !!!
