We went with family and had 5 ice creams. The staff were friendly, and having to order to children that change there mind every 3 seconds they continued to be friendly. The shop gets busy so I would recommend sending one person in and they have menus outside the shop. Be careful though as it’s one the main road and it’s busy with cars. The Ice Cream itself was a portion for a single scoop it was enough to satisfy our kids. It was delicious as well and I would have it from there again. Price wise it wasn’t too bad compared to places in the UK.

Ice cream itself had good flavour but for whatever reason it was melting far too quickly, I think the freezers are not kept cold enough so it’s melting down the cone pretty much as soon as you get it, which is disappointing as it’s rather expensive and the portion size needs to be reconsidered. The scoop they use is incredibly tiny which is fine when paying for a small cone, but perhaps use a bigger scoop when someone pays for a large cone. Hardly comes above the top of cone. Just disappointing in general and wont be visiting again.

We went here twice in two days. Service is great, it's value for money and most importantly the ice-cream is amazing. You even get a wonderful choice of cone. Well worth a visit if you're in town!

The ice cream is lovely, lots of flavours to choose from and the cone options are great too!The only disappointment was the milkshake, very thin/watery and just flavoured milk. Could do with more icecream vs. so much milk to be a proper shake & worth the £6 price tag.Definitely will return for more ice creams, but not milkshakes.
What a joy to see vegan ice cream available! I had the mint choc chip and brownie (I think). It was absolutely delicious and the lady serving me was so friendly, highly recommend if you're staying/passing!

Live not to far away so when we visit Aberdyfi an ice-cream from The Sweet Shop is a must. Staff are alway cheerful and friendly, being patient with children who because of the wide choice available sometimes take a while to choose what flavour to have. Visited a few days ago and was crossing the road with my ice-cream when calamity struck ! Ice-cream hit the road, Went back to get a replacement and joked with the staff about my mishap and was surprised to be given a replacement free of charge. What a nice gesture. Thank you
