As we where late travelling to our caravan I rushed in to order fish and chips( thinking it would have been the quickest option but still waited 15 min(the shop was empty! got back to "enjoy" the meal only to find "warmed up dehydrated chips!! And the fish too! It resembled own brand supermarket battered fish!Also I honestly believe it had been cooked a day before! Also the a smell of old stale burnt oil lingered in the shop.I used to sing the praises of pensarn chippy( all my family order a Chinese whenever at caravan!!( but sadly it's really gone downhill.Has it changed management?

Ordered a chicken curry and fried rice ,Just delivered chicken with onions and no sauce and the rice was dry .I won't be ordering again .

We use this Chinese alot.Unfortunately it's really gone downhill , and they make the prices up as they go along. They never charge you what the menu saysAlways more . I mean £9 for salt and pepper chips - really?We've found the lady behind the serving counter always rude if you question your order. Unfortunately we'll be taking out custom elsewhere in future.

Sorry to give this a 1* but our meal was unsatisfactory, one day you will give someone food poisoning, the egg fried rice smelled off and the chips was poor. This completely spoiled a lovely tea. I am local and the chips was like what you heated the day before. The whole thing was disappointing as when I have been here before the food tasted good with the price that the establishment charges us and with the price of food these days people don't want to throw food in the bin I am not one for criticising businesses but for the business to grow and be the best it can be criticism is needed. Also cleaning the oil will help as its not fresh and makes the chips look burnt and disgusting.

Wow! What an absolute disgrace of a meal. I honestly felt like I was eating seagul (although I never have ?)We ordered 3 meals, all containing meat and if blindfolded you would have absolutely no way of identifying what it was you where eating. It was supposed to be chicken and pork in all of our orders, and it was like no other chicken or pork I’ve ever tasted. I’m convinced it wasn’t. The prawns where rock hard, as was all the “meat” Literally had to run to the bin to spit it out. That a was a whole family meal wasted, and when we called the takeaway they simply offered an apology with no offer to exchange or refund. They suggested we order something different next time.The chips where passable.If you check out my other reviews on my profile I don’t think you will come across any other negative review as I don’t like to leave them, but I absolutely couldn’t let this one go!All ended up in the bin, and we ended up cooking our own food.
Food us great. Good price. But do not expect your order to be delivered when they say. On 2 occasions now I was told half hour to 45 mins. Closer to hour half after ringing 3 times. But the food is good.

Phoned and collected our order whilst recently staying in Towyn within 25 minutes. Ordered Salt & pepper chicken wings(8) which were tasty with plenty of topping and actual wings were large...king prawn fried rice & chicken/beef fried rice were both really fresh, hot and again generous portion. Curry sauce was nice and not too spicy for kids as well. Son had fish and chips- Fish was HUGE and not greasy at all. Chips could of done with an extra 5 mins in the fryer and paying by card would of been easier than having to go cash machine but overall really nice takeaway, a lot cheaper than what we pay at home and decent fresh quality will order again if staying in the area!!
