Grim, pure and simple. It's like a cattle market.

This business spoke to a brewery and asked them not to sell to us.

My son and his friends went here last Saturday, yes they'd been drinking and got into a scuffle with other lad, that was known to the bouncers but the bouncers dragged them out and away from the cameras and gave them a good kicking, even restricted my sons breathing by kneeling on his windpipe until he nearly lost consciousness. They were also very rough with the 2 girls that were with them.Bouncers are supposed to defuse a situation and escort people out not beat them up!!!Owners need to be responsible for their actions.

I was just outside with some of my friends and witnessed 2 what I'd assume were bouncers physically throw a small girl face first onto the floor. We asked what happend and it seemed absolutely outrageous to do that to someone who wasn't and didn't seem to be that physical. We don't know what happend or the full story but that is still disgusting behaviour to do that to any other human being.

Went with a group of us and all paid entry fee, within 5 minutes bouncers decided they wanted one of my pals kicked out and banned for apparently 'being on coke'. We've never touched the stuff and were borderline sober when your bouncer decided to have what I can only imagine was a power trip. Have enjoyed this club everytime i've visited however I'll be making sure none of my friends come back.

me and my friends were terribly disrespected by security for absolutely no reason, no one wanted to explain the situation with us.

Homophic bouncers, aggressive clubers and a dirty place. If you're lucky enough to attend with a good DJ on (rarely ever happens since I've been there) then you may still struggle to keep a good vibe. Violent men, usually coming from England or other areas for a fight, will barge your shoulder trying to 'cheff you up outside' (real quote ). Despite Aber being very LGBT friendly, the pier is where homophobes like to congregate. Numerous ocassions where ive been involved in or witnessed some intense harassment and upon notifying the bouncers, you can either guarantee getting kicked out or laughed at. Sully and a man with arms covered in tattoos tend to be the unpleasant ones on the dancefloor. Preying on freshers to flirt with. All this in a building thats been falling apart, hasnt had a deep clean in years and gets used as a form of money laundering. Not a good shout, barely a club, bouncers should get chucked in a cell for a night.

If you like cheesy music and beer, this is the place for you. I think it's awful personally.

Oh the memories of this place. Reading by what everyone is saying, doesn't look like it's changed much since I was last there 5 years ago.By far the funniest thing that happened in my 4 years in Aberystwyth Uni was when the DJ silenced the music so a guy could propose to his girlfriend when they were both off their faces, drunk! Can get a little claustrophobic, though, and that did lead to security problems when they had to break up fights - that was about once every month to six weeks or so.
