Turned up tonight to find they are closed. It's a pity that they haven't updated Google as they aren't open until February.

I ordered the Pad Cha seafood for collection. Described as a stir fry, but it was more a thin broth, with no noodles. Which at £12.50 I would have thought there would have been. It wasn't very large either. It had 2 prawns and no mussels which the menue states it should have had. Tasted ok.

We had a delicious takeaway. Everything tasted so fresh and flavoursome. I had penang curry and it was just lovely, fresh crunchy green beans and chicken in a tasty curry sauce. The rice was lovely too and all 4 of us enjoyed our choices. We had a sharing starter and there were several tasty dips. The vegetarian dish was great, the veg was so fresh and tasty. All eaten in an Airbnb overlooking the sea. Fab. The resteraunt is popular so it was a bonus to discover the takeaway service.

Been here before and had excellent food so I thought I'd try it again, we ordered a takeaway for 2, 1 red 1 green and 1 rice to share. When opened the rice it was smaller than a bar of soap which wasn't enough for 1 let alone 2, the Thai itself was bland and nothing to report. All in all i wouldn't go back.Parking: There's very limited places to park on the streetWheelchair accessibility: There are no steps and so easy access for wheelchairs

Great place to eat Thai food, visit every time when we are in Aberystwyth.

Have been a regular despite the prices increasing and the portion sizes decreasing. In my opinion its not worth getting it as a takeaway because £55 for 1 adult and 1 child (2 starters, 2 rice, 1 main, 1 salad, 2 soft drinks) as a takeaway is too much (at the same prices as eat in).Hence we went today 6.15pm asking to eat in but no tables available and told that nothing would be coming available all evening. So I reluctantly ordered said £55 takeaway although really wanted to eat in. No sooner had i ordered, turned around to see 2 people walk in and ask if there was a table and they were shown to a table for 2 which had just become empty. I immediately questioned the owner saying that we had requested a table and wanted to eat in and he apologised that he didn't know. However actions speak louder than words, no gesture was made to make it up to us so had to pay the same price as eat in but perched in discomfort waiting for takeaway then getting it home to eat lukewarm as hadn't planned to get takeaway while the 2 who had walked in after us had the comfort of a table, it's put me off going again that's for sure! Its a shame as i wanted to try the specials and would probably have spent more if we'd eaten in and been able to enjoy the experience but I felt rushed to order the takeaway and that experience definitely wasn't value for money or enjoyable! In response to owner's message below:Many thanks for your response to my review. I'm confused by what you mean by my meal was almost completed when other guests arrived as you were still writing down my order when the other 2 walk ins who got the table we should've had arrived?I didn't know about your 2 sittings at 6 and 8 as have tended to come around 5pm previously and been successful as a walk in so we thought we would chance it that day, as indeed did the 2 people who walked in a few minutes after us and were given a table which had just been vacated around 6.20pm after we'd been told nothing would be coming available. You did apologise for the mix up which was appreciated but my point was that such a poor and disappointing experience tends to leave the customer feeling like they've had a bad deal and a small goodwill gesture would go a long way.

We visited on Saturday as a family and we all chose different meals off the menu. Each meal was superbly cooked with very good portions and served by the owner who doubles up as the waiter, barman oh and front of house host!! They get very busy and had to turn a number of people away sadly. So please do book to avoid being disappointed. We look forward to our next visit and thank you all for a great experience. Me and my husband just went to have a lovely thai meal at Saphan Thai tonight! And we went there for the last 2 night as well! I'm Thai and I've been to many Thai restaurants in the UK before. But I could say this one is one of the best thai restaurant in the UK! With real authentic thai taste! I loved that their menu have different to the others. They have more "Thai street food" that the others Thai restaurant here don't normally have, like, Stew beef noodle, Sukiyaki, Rad Na (gravy noodle) and more! You could try what on their special menu as well you won't disappointed! Great service, reasonable price, big portion. Very highly recommended!

Small friendly and informal. If Thai flavours are what you like you won't be disappointed. No frills just good food and service.
