From two tired cyclists: very welcoming, a warming fire, excellent curry. And we were on our way.

Had Sunday lunch yesterday. Food was amazing but the pub itself was freezing. We kept our coats on throughout as did many others. We will come again but please make it a bit warmer.

We visited today for a late Sunday lunch. Fabulous, home cooked Sunday roast, with lovely yorkshires and proper gravy. Huge portion sizes, so struggled to finish! Very good value. Staff friendly and welcoming. Log burner was on which - after a big lunch and a glass or two of wine - meant it was a struggle not to curl up and have a nap!Can not fault anything - a great pub for a hearty meal. Highly recommend. Thank you!

I don't ever review, and think this is a first! I drove up in the car this evening with a friend as a spur of the moment, oooh it's Tuesday ooo teifi are doing takeaway and I haven't tried it yet!As we came in and were well greeted at the bar we ordered burgers and were told it would be about 20 minutes, now either the 20 minutes went past super fast or the food was even faster than that! With that we paid about £20 which is great! The burgers themselves were rather delicious, being a chef myself I could really appreciate the flavour there was in the chicken burger and it was huge!Thank youu! Will be back!Parking: Huge parking could reverse my car blindfolded!

Sunday lunch, good-sized portions, good value for money. Always worthy of note - toilet very clean which for me indicates a clean and hygienic kitchen.

There was a lovely atmosphere here, nice tasty selection of veg, and large portions, but unfortunately my roast beef was like leather! Couldn't cut through it at all, the rest of my family had lamb which was fine! When I complained was offered a free dessert, I don't have a sweet tooth so refused this, I feel I should have been offered an alternative!

Love this place. I camped down the road. The welcome was warm and friendly. The food was honest and tasty and home cooked and just got better every meal I had there, culminating in the fantastic roast lamb Sunday lunch. I had the most delicious leek and potato soup to start with followed by roast lamb, mint sauce, yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, roast carrot, red cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower cheese and gravy, all home cooked and all incredibly delicious, with 2 glasses of red wine. My dog came along too to which they were all also very welcoming. The scenery around is stunning. I stumbled back to the campsite and slept it off. Fantastic place.
