A nice pub and great atmosphere with a TV on the wall to watch the sports of you fancy. A good reasonably priced menu choice to suit all the family. And some seating in the window to watch the world go by. Good friendly service with lots of good drink choices on

Great pub, massive selection and something different on every night. Didn't eat but talking to others apparently the food is good and reasonable for the price. Guinness was fine if a little cold

I usually consider this a great place to eat and drink at a reasonable price.Today, though, I had an awful meal. I ordered a beef dinner but only about 20% of the beef was edible (it was mostly gristle) the ball of mashed potato was unrecognisable with a tough skin and one roast was so hard it was inedible. Yorkshire and gravy was okay!I was in a family group who paid for it so I didn't want to make a fuss or I would've sent the "food" back.Really disappointed and not what I would normally expect of The White Horse.
