Not dog friendly so ratings didn't have the opportunity to go on. Please disregard ratings but the (not) dog friendly was a deal breaker for us.

Came from Sussex on a 2 day road trip to Wales , picked this place for breakfast just off its location and look. Definitely a good choice!Excellent value for money, £7.95 for a very hearty full Welsh breakfast including 2 hot drinks! Very fast and extremely friendly service, delicious food; couldn't fault it :)Two things to note. 1.) There's a car park 20 feet away that gives you an hour for free , perfect if you've driven. 2.) The Cafe is cash only (I think this is permanent rather than temporary but I could be wrong?) so just a heads up if you dont normally carry cash.Definitely coming back on my next roadtrip to the area.

Excellent food, good value, friendly staff. A cracking little cafe, all your basic food ( and a specials board) cooked freshly to order, and served promptly. Well worth a visit.

Was recommended by the bar man in the hotel opposite. Did not disappoint. The food was excellent. The portion was huge. We both could not finish our meal. The food is cooked to order, so came hot, and tasty. I ordered a cod and chips and my husband ordered gammon with all the trimmings. They only take cash, but the whole lot with coffee/tea came to less than £25. Well worth it..The ladies who cooked and served were friendly too.

This place has really gone downhill. It used to be a lovely coffee to go and eat. The ppl who work there are now so rude and have no idea how to talk to customers the ppl who pay your wages. After waiting to be served, I'd been waiting 5 minutes before anyone even spoke to me. She asked me, "Are you with the rowing club? When I said no she told me to move out of the way she's dealing with the rowing club first so I promised I won't ever use this coffee again and I recommend any locals to stay away. I will go to the lovely coffee o the port sho know how to treat ppl. Also, this coffee is really grubby and dirty.

We called into this unassuming cafe for breakfast and were blown away by what we had, especially from a quality and value for money perspective. I had the Full Welsh Breakfast (including both black and white pudding) and my wife the Vegetarian option, which included a brew and a couple of rounds of toast for £7 and £6 respectively. The staff were also very hospitable and welcoming and we will certainly be calling in again. Our only small disappointment was that they don't allow dogs into the cafe.

We were hussled in by a fella we met on the campsite we were staying on, Pete ( with one leg) he was sat outside and spotted us. We had a brew and scone sat out with him and his son and a pal of theirs. They introduced us to the lady owner. We were made to feel like special guests. We arrived as strangers and left as friends as they say. Pete was a character. We'd come back just to see him again. Plus the scones were nice too. As was the milky coffee.

My wife and I went here for our lunch, never been before and wasn’t expecting anything great, we were wrong!! The staff were pleasant and the food delicious, I had the Beef curry and chips while my wife had a massive baked potato with Prawns. The portions were very generous at a very reasonable price. Although this place is a cafe, it should not be under rated.
