I would like to say thanks to the manager for the excellent service of Janey yesterday around 530 when I called in to cheer up after a bad day. She was very friendly and professional, as seemed the young man with black hair with her! Really did cheer me up and even let me put my own salt and vinegar on! Please commend her to the manager. Best chips I've had in a long time. We called in just before closing, so there wasn't a lot left, which is absolutely fair 10 minutes before close.My rissole was not good. The bottom was burned to a crisp, and it didn't smell too fresh either. However, the chips were absolutely amazing. I will be trying again to check if the rissole was just an error as I'd be happy just having chips and sauce. They were that good.Parking: Surrounding streets have double yellow lines, you need to park in one of the paid County car parks and walk, but it isn't far.

I don't have a bad word to say about this place: the fish and chips are fried fresh to order; the extras are spot on (e.g. chunk of lemon, mushy peas, curry sauce); and the hospitality is toasty. I even got asked - for the first time in my life - whether I wanted Chinese (standard) and Irish (spicy) curry sauce. Mind blown.
