I've ordered three online deliveries from here, two on my current Asda account and my first one was an account I couldn't access anymore. Many things get substituted every time which makes absolutely no sense because online some things say "out of stock" but other items are fine until you pay, only then is it out of stock and substituted. My daughter's nappies are size 6 but 2/3 times I've ordered they've been swapped for size 7. They'll fit in a few months but for now completely useless and I'll have to go to my local Tesco for them now anyway. I booked a 8pm to 9pm slot and it's currently 9.49pm and still no sign. Order details still say estimated delivery time 9.41pm and hasn't been updated. My delivery driver is Shaun and has finished the deliveries that made him late about 9.30pm so what's the hold up? Very shoddy communication. Highly debating doing online shopping from another supermarket because these issues keep persisting.

Id give it a zero if I could, used to shop here every week but the last few times Ive come in I have not been able to buy basic products such as fresh fruit, mince and other items. I now shop elsewhere

We , for the first time tried out the Cafe in Asda in Barry. We owned a Bar Restaurant for 23 years. We found the Tomato Soup to be of a good thickness and taste but was only just warm. The Coffee was excellent in taste but was only warm. The young employee had no personality, showd signs of not wanting to be there. Made no eye contact. Morrisons employees in there Cafe nearby have Staff that have personalitys and manners. You felt welcome there. Needless to say. We won't be using the Cafe in Asda Barry Again.

Would have given 0 stars if I could.Do not bother doing click & collect its quicker just going in the store.Waiting outside Asda at the collection point for 25 minutes.

Good variety at OK prices. Self scanners never work

I have shopped in many Asda stores, and this one falls way short of the standards found in other stores. The place is cluttered and untidy, and so many of the shelf labels display different prices to those that scan at the till. I have found that most of the staff don't care less and are quite rude. There are a few exceptional staff who go out of their way to help, shame that these few weren't able to train other staff and managers. The store is an embarrassment to the chain as a whole.

Absolutely terrible branch of Asda. The Barry branch feels 'dark' compared to all the branches of Asda in Cardiff, can't put my finger on why exactly but it definetely has a dark and gloomy feel to it. The staff and sadly the customers, whom I pressume to be Barry locals, are also far FAR ruder and more hostile than at other braches.... word of warning: one of the self checkouts on the 'cash and card' side has a small sign selotaped to it stating 'card only.' You cannot see this sign from where you are standing in line waiting and it's only visible as and when you get to the checkout. God forbid you make this simple mistake of going to this checkout intending to pay with cash, see the sign, and then have the audacity to ask if 'this accepts cash..?' to one of the angry and anti social staff that man the self service checkouts, only to be met with a rather aggresive and seething reply which smack of 'I hate my job, hate Asda, and hate people' type reply from one of the awful awful staff memebers chastising you for 'not seeing' the sign (which you cant see from outside of the checkout area) and for having the nerve to bother thier private conversation between themselves or the local nutter/misfit whom they all seem to know. Never anything in stock by the way.... stay clear of this place, it's really really terrible.

Popped in around 7:30 last night to grab a few bits, couldn't believe the state of the place. Shelves were empty, pallets in the middle of the aisle full of stock. Had to ask a member of staff if I could move past him only to be told 'I've enough to do as it is'. I understand there are pressures but there's no need to be rude to a customer. The doors still aren't fixed outside, shambles of a store. I'll stick to Leckwith I think.

We called into the cafe just before 2.00 today for the first time. Decided what we wanted to eat. Was told several items weren't available i.e.Steak pie all we were offeredwas scampi or cod.Kids pasta and meatballs all we were offered instead nuggets or fish fingersThe only panini we could have was what was left in the cabinet on show. The attitude on the dark haired girl on the till was "we've been busy". It was 2.00 !!! Not good customer care.I hope nobody went back after 3.00 for 50% off as they would be very disappointed.Other families went to the counter asking if their food was ready and were told they were working down the list!!!It wasnt even that busy.Hence to say we left and wont be coming back !!!
