I had the pork souvlaki and my partner had the chicken souvlaki, plus a portion of the greeks in blankets (a highly tasty Greek take on pigs in blankets). Had chicken souvlaki at the Newport market recently and was pretty underwhelmed. The salad was all fresh and very tasty, as were the humus and tzatziki. The pitta was OK, but nothing special. The chicken though was dry and tasteless. It was served cold in just a paper bag which meant it couldn't be put down without everything spilling out. the pitta then split along the bottom which meant I had to pick bits out with a fork.
