the food was not that great to be honest. Went on a monday my food was over cooked. Most of it was burned and took ages for the meal to reach us. Pepole serving were nice and friendly. To be honest can not recommend this place for a meal. Usually i would order a desert but becuase of the state of the main course opted not to waste money on it.Parking: easy to park and find entrance parking was free 2 disabled parking near restaurant entrance

Food was really good and reasonable price. Very busy with lots of atmosphere when I went but service was still very fast and didn’t have to wait long for my food at all. I had the katsu banquet and would highly recommend it. Would be nice if they offered an upgrade option on this dish to get more wings though ( go large)! Will definitely be back.

The inside smells it’s so hot the staff are mean the wait is between 1to 3 hours for chips and nuggets and when we had it it was moldy cold stail do not go there it is bad the kids area is closed it’s not worth it at all not even the drinks were nice ???

Standard Hungry Horse food and Green King pub drinks. Nice location near to Barry Island. What makes this pub great is the staff. They were patient and friendly with the kids and couldn't do enough to help. The prices were reasonable too.Parking: Behind the pub. Large, free carpark for pub patrons.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, but the inside play area is still close.

A few weeks ago would have given 5stars. Been going there for years loved the place and food. But today Friday we were looking forward to fish and chips to be told NO FISH?? Last time there was NO CHEESE?? What restaurant runs out of these things. Very disappointed went somewhere else. Went to cherry orchard up road had fantastic fish meal.

Absolutely amazing service from all staff that were serving us on a busy Saturday night. Especially Lewis behind the bar, so kind and helpful and has very good energy and so motivated in what he does. We went out for my sister in laws birthday and we were chatting to him and he paid for her drinks! I myself only had a bowl of chips but the food that others ordered looked outstanding and the bowl of chips I had were very good and great prices too!
