A local for us and somewhere we have always enjoyed eating there.Lovely food. There is a really good chef there.Atmosphere is somewhat cold. Not sure what it is. But certainly a good eatery.

The food portions are huge, but there’s a lot lacking. We booked a table but none had been reserved it seemed. There was one table free when we entered, surrounded by men swearing their heads off with their backsides hanging out. (Not the best for kids , it’s chaotic on a weekend and very noisy). We moved to another table. We waited an hour for sandwiches and 2 hot meals. The portions are huge, the ‘Thai’ curry was nothing like a Thai, and was very bland. The worst thing about the pub is it is filthy. The carpeted areas are shiny, with a layer of grease/dirt on top. The edges where it met the tiled floor it was more apparent. Even the beer mats on the bar were old and tattered. The staff were all pretty dismissive bar one nice lady w glasses behind the bar. The toilets were also filthy, someone had even spat on the floor. It’s a shame because it’s in a great position with a nice view when sat on the front/outside. Needs some TLC and a damn good clean!

A delightful pub on the bay front at Moelfre. A warm welcome from the landlady and very filling meal from an extensive lunch menu. Couldn't ask for a better place to sit back, have a meal and a drink and look at the view. Definitely a place to return to.

Good food and beer. Dog friendly. Dog water barrel and plenty of bowls outside. Treats at the bar. Dogs made welcome inside the restaurant area. Nice little pebble beach nearby with lots of dogs.

Ok pub, service poor . Waited almost 1 hour for food . Actually the food was good when it finally arrived .

Heart of the community pub with lovely staff. Ideal position where you can watch the world go by at the front and fabulous decked area at the rear. A real sun trap. Pizzas at Y Dec were amazing.

OMG. They dont take bookings. 2 people sat on a 6 table. Non structure of tables. The outside garden has mobile caravan for pizzas but steep as hell and my elderly relative was in real danger! Didnt stay for food. Couldnt sit down. Wont take bookings. At 6.00 pm and they told me food stops at 8.30! Its a bloody joke. Taking advantage of the only pub in the area. Well you wouldnt survive in the real world. Open a pub near here and you would take away the arrogance

Good pub food with interesting specials and an amazing view! Dog friendly with biscuits on the bar!

We live locally and have eaten here before and thought it was very very average pub grub. This time we came to have a pizza at the newly opened deck behind the pub however they had sold out by 6pm of everything! As we had a baby and six friends with us we reluctantly opted to eat outside the pub again! 30 minute wait turned into 1.5 hours with forgotten meals, what did turn up was barely edible with cheap ingredients that was badly cooked. If you are any type of 'foody' I would avoid this place like the plague, those that say the food is good here clearly don't get out much! The location is great and that's what keeps this place in business, that and the fact it's the only pub in Moelfre !! This is a tourist hot spot and without them they would be closed in a month. Awful food and service I really wouldn't waste your money. Go to the chippy up the road it's lovely!

We came here for my birthday meal on a Monday evening in August. Inside was pretty busy and no seating for our party of 6, so we sat on one of the benches out the front, which we actually loved for the view. We ordered our meals, we were warned that the gammon steaks took 30 mins to cook, but food ended up taking about an hour and 15 mins to come out. We were all getting pretty hungry by this point, especially our 2 kids...... but the food was definitely worth the wait! We had gammon steak, double burger, kids pizza, jacket potato and I went for the the special of the bbq rack of ribs. The chips were so good, the gammon steaks were so thick and we loved the beer battered onion rings!

Cracking little pub, old school vibe great views cheap car park opposite! Slightly on the dear end for a pint but worth it for the view!

We come to Moelfre 2 or 3 times a year and always visit the pub. The pub is great, food nice. On our last visit I left my handbag and a lovely lady called Lynn posted it back to my home. I can’t thank her enough. She saved me a good 4 hour round trip. Thank you LynnParking: No issues when we went.
