Quite a marvel and hidden gem in North Wales. Such interesting history behind this beautiful little cottage. The staff were friendly and accommodating to the hikers who were eager to try squeeze in. We enjoyed a good oat cappuccino and fruit scone. Perfect stop mid hike!

Quaint tea room, with friendly service inside or outside this eye catching building. Good selection of scones and tasty cappuccinos.

This review is for the tea rooms only. Nice cuppa & welsh cakes, my friend got 6 pieces of bara brith in one portion. Would've given 5 stars if it wasn't such an uphill trek to the toilet facilities outside.Food & drinks: Nice pot of tea, generous portions of food

No effort with Welsh. A historic building in Wales should have a Welsh language service.

Just love having my coffee in an idyllic hobbit hut ☕️Pictures taken in end of September and it wasn’t ugly at all ? A dramatic view from the backyard was enjoyable while the chimney’s smoking and birds chirping

Absolutely lovely place. Extremely accommodating and pleasant people. Jane was so helpful and had already put a meal on the menu that I was able to eat so I felt really welcomed (I had the vegan version lasagne, it was absolutely top notch with a lovely side salad as well).Other regular options were available for anybody going for a light snack or big lunch. The place is gorgeous, with a fire inside which was perfect on the drizzly November late morning when we arrived. Can’t recommend enough.Thank you!

What a beautiful little tea room. Staff are so kind and welcoming. The house itself is amazing so quirky and cute. If you in the area it’s a must. The food was amazing and big portions. I’ll be returning for sure. 5 star service.Parking: Small car park

This was just such a lovely experience. I am surprised to see some negative reviews, I can only comment on our own experience. What a lovely place! My wife and I were in Wales for the week, we loved it so much we made a return visit at the end of the week. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and chatty; the food was all home made and delicious; an amazing selection of freshly made cakes and an impressive selection of vegan dishes for such a small place!! The fire just added to the ambience. We visit this area of Wales every November so look forward to our return visit and sampling more of the menu choices!
