Just had a lovely lunch, lots of choice the menu which made it difficult to choose, we all opted for the sandwiches. They were lovely. The bread, fillings, side salad and coleslaw were really good. Great value for money, great service and will definitely return!

Lovely cafe with very generous portions of food attractively presented. Lots of choice to suit all tastes. Staff are so friendly and welcoming it's a pleasure to visit. Not the cheapest but definitely one of the best. Perfectly situated for cinema opposite.

Lovely, friendly cafe. Great staff especially Shirley. Good choice of food. Well prepared and delicious. Reasonable prices. Can sit outside if weather is nice. Service can be a bit slow if busy but understandable.

It was rather busy when l visited so the staff took a long time to take my order. Coffee was very good. Nice and hot. The sausage sandwich was let down by cold cheap bread. Not at all pleasant. I would rather pay more to have proper bread. Hot sausages on freezing bread is not nice. I would return but only for coffee.

We love McKenzies, the food and service are great. The only downside is their website says they are open until 5pm but a few times we have arrived around 3pm and they are closing. So unless we can get there by 2pm, we don't bother going.
