Love this chippy! The girls behind the counter are friendly and always happy to chat! Their Irish curry is spectacular and the chicken bites are lush. Chips and burgers can be a hit hit and miss but I’ve been happy more than disappointed. It can get busy and you can be waiting a while for things like burgers, and due to the small shop it can get crowded easily but the girls are always smiling and try to get to your order ASAP. A bit of banter and a smile gets you a long way in life and these girls have that in spades. With prices rising everywhere at least this chippy is worth your money. I’ve left and forgotten a sausage behind once and one of the girls working there chased me up the street to give it to me…most places wouldn’t care!

Unfortunately the fish and chips from Mr Chippy are quite frankly, the worse I’ve ever had. The batter was so so greasy and the fish tasted as if it was going off (Not even the dog would eat it). The chips were the strangest colour chips I ever seen also, not sure how they even achieved such a feat.I now have an upset tummy, I’m hoping that it wasn’t the fish.

Absolutely bogging pre heated chips from this afternoon dried out and disgusting 2 businesses that won't be having any more of my customer. Uber eats and youselves Put a request on to have it 4.30 they turned up at 3.45 also had vinegar on it and now my daughter is having an allergic reaction thanks Mr chippy you will be hearing from my solicitor if anything happened to my daughter

Fishcakes burnt and full of fat chips had been standing for so long tasted like cardboard however potatoes fritters were very nice but won't be going there again ?☹️

Full on disgusting food. Burnt chips revolting taste scabby chips cooked over and over. Couldn't even add anything to them to try and make them taste any better ?

Had a pick up yesterday and safe to say it was terrible! The jumbo sausage in batter was disgusting and tasted funny, with the batter all I can say was burnt. It gave me a terrible stomach ache too and made myself ill all night. My mother's fish was uneatable with the batter almost as solid as a rock and was beyond burnt. The chips were okay, but have had better. Overall it was disgusting and honestly a shame as we had lovely food there before but unfortunately this time will be our last.

Absolutely disgusting. Chips was cold and stale! Wraps came and was missing the sauce that I asked for and the burger was smothered in grease to the point the paper that it was wrapped in was dripping in it! Called to complain and the manager I spoke to had a horrible attitude and said I’m quote “people that complain about the food when it is all fresh are trying to play victim to get a refund!” And hung up the whole! Not impressed at all !

Staff very unprofessional standing outside making you wait for them to be ready yelling and joking with friends all the time then it takes about 30mins for the food to be done and after all that the food was way over cooked they messed up my order. I ordered and payed for a burger meal with chips but only gave me the burger. The mozzarella sticks was burnt/overcooked there was no cheese in them. Also my friend ordered chips which he paid £2.65 for but they were more like scraps! The chips looked like they were recooked in the oil! Disgusting I do not recommend at all. Save your money!

Food was freezing when it actually turned up the driver didn’t even get out of the car the sausage and batters must of been under the range all day if not longer the onion rings were soggy and there fish was same as the sausage and batter absolutely awful food wouldn’t rate 1 star tbh

Very disappointed! Food arrived cold. Kebab meat was to burnt for a kids meal not to mention half of my food was missing and when they did kindly bring it back it was wrong not to mention chips wasn’t fresh! I won’t be ordering again .
