From the minute we entered Pebbles to time we left we had nothing but wonderful treatment. The hosts are the absolute best and treat you like royalty. The actual establishment is in a suberb location and we were lucky enough to have the most beautiful sea view. The rooms are spotlessly clean and plush.Breakfast is delicious too!!I really can't praise this place enough. We will definitely be back

Excellent experience and Rachel and Andy were extremely welcoming throughout our short stay. Lovely b@b in a stunning location. Rooms had plenty of space and very clean with a delicious breakfast in the morning. We would definitely stay again and be recommending to family and friends. Keep up the great work and we look forward to seeing you both again

Lovely place for the family to stay, ideally situated for the beach, great breakfast, very comfy bed, very clean rooms, our hosts Rachel & Andy, knowledge of the local area and places to visit was unbounded. Always contactable and ready to assist with the requests we made. Highly recommend.

Our stay at Pebbles was faultless. Friendly and attentive service from the owners, they even put up the Christmas tree for us! The room was decorated to a very high standard and the on suite bathroom was perfect, with a huge walk in shower. Breakfast was fab, freshly cooked to order and really good quality. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here.

In February, I booked two rooms for bed and breakfast in August for 5 nights and paid a rather steep 50% deposit of £500 by bank transfer (which I have never done before). In these strange times you would expect some flexibility and understanding but the owners of this place aren’t like that. When Wales was in lockdown in July, the owner called to ask if I wanted to cancel but at the time I still wanted my family holiday. I was told that due to COVID, it would be bed only which was fair enough at the time because who knew how long restrictions would last and how they would change. About a week before our stay I phoned to ask about the situation - I was aware that all restrictions in Wales had been lifted but wanted to double check AND because of family circumstances I could now only stay 4 nights.First I was told that they were still not doing breakfast (even though other places were - I checked) but there was no reduction in price. There was no reason for them not to be providing breakfast except by their choice. I was prepared, reluctantly, to accept that even though I thought it was a bit of a cheek (I had paid a deposit for bed AND BREAKFAST after all in good faith). But when I said I could now only stay 4 nights I was told that I would still have to pay for 5 “unless the rooms could be booked by someone else on the night I could no longer stay” (which was impossible because the owner had also said previously that after stays rooms were closed for two days as a Covid precaution). This I was not happy with - plans change but expecting someone to pay £200 for a night they couldn’t stay, well that really annoyed me. Because of the tone of the owner I decided to cancel. I was told that I could not get my £500 deposit back unless the rooms were let.No flexibility. No compromise.I have to admit I was furious so I wrote a review and posted it on their Facebook page - I have to also admit it was a bit over the top because I wrote it in anger. However, before I had the chance to calm down and rethink my actions the owner called me and left a message to call back - her husband in the background could be heard saying ‘If he doesn’t we’ll...’: presumably an unfinished threat! I did call back immediately and was harangued and because I was flustered I ended up apologising and removing the review. They said they were advertising the rooms and did pay deposits back ‘on occasion’. I’m glad I deleted my over the top review but I am now writing another one because I have never heard from them again and so have lost £500. I have no idea if they were able to let the rooms or not but they are clearly keeping my money. I really regret booking direct - usually I do by a website and by credit card (rather than a private bank account transfer as was told to in this case) - because you have no protection! I feel it is my duty to warn other travellers of my experience. If you book this guest house be aware that the owners have a very strict cancellation / change of plans policy and you could lose out.The whole episode was an unpleasant experience.

Great friendly guest house on Borth front. The owners were very welcoming on arrival. We had the attic room suitable for a family which was very nice.Laid out like an apartment, with a seating area and TV (although the channels are limited) and a great sea view, we had a very chilled out evening and a great nights sleep.Breakfast was fantastic. We'll definitely be back.

We recently stayed at pebbles bed and breakfast and it was lovely. The owners were very welcoming and the rooms comfortable. The sea view rooms are fantastic also. Breakfast was great also and it's location is great as you can walk 5 min to the train station where a cheap £3.80 return to Aberystwyth can be brought. Best bed and breakfast in Borth.
