Decided to try this as it recently reopened as a pub and Thai restaurant plus we had recently eaten at their sister Thai restaurant in the town. The night we visited there was a Xmas party meal alongside us but we didn't let this effect our visit it just added to the atmosphere. We enjoyed our food plus the staff were very welcoming and friendly too. This place has a bustling bar area too with a real open fire serving traditional ales as well as other favourites.

This pub has exceptional meals. There were 7 in the party and every single meal was served hot and everyone enjoyed what the had. Can’t recommend the place more highly than a 5 star .

Been in twice with our Vizsla Nellie and the first time we were greeted with open arms and the second, the landlady said we could have our 'usual' table. Made to feel welcome in an easy-going relaxed pub and I even got away with being an Englishman in a pub watching Wales lose to us in the rugby! Beer's good too. Especially the 'Best Bitter'. (Welsh name unpronouncable....) Circumstances dictate we'll be in the area more often and we'll definitely be back. Our new welsh 'local'.

Food was incredible, service was fantastic and the overall experience was unreal. Major food and roast snob but this blew us all away! NO FROZEN VEG…. It was all fresh!

Sunday lunch with the wife. Really nice welcome, all staff very friendly and polite. We went for the carvery which was great value for money. Clive the chap serving the meat (owner I think) is a lovely chap, very welcoming, as we’re all the staff tbh. Great food, great VFM, great welcome and great staff. Only advice would be tidy up the exterior.

Stayed for two nights recently. Rooms were slightly dates, but clean and comfortable. Full English breakfast was fantastic. All reasonably priced.
