We just love this cafe. You can have normal cafe food and coffee but better than that are the jerk chicken and Jamaican dumplings. The prices are more than reasonable with really good portion sizes.

Great food & service. Was quiet as it was mid week, only about 6 others inside.Food was cooked very well, really nice tasting and not overly expensive.Service was good, very chatty & approachable.Would recommend a visit!Wheelchair accessibility: Though I was not in a wheelchairs (I was using my stick) you could easily have gained access in a chair.

My partner and I stopped for breakfast and it was lovely. Freshly cooked and good value for money. My partner said it was the best breakfast he's had in a long time. I've previously had a curry goat takeaway and this was also yummy.

Second time here in a couple of years. Devon is a gem of hospitality, through Jamaican generosity he reminds Wales to be more expansive and sharing. It’s also a really pleasant vibe in the midst of Bridgend’s struggling post-industrial semi-coma. Devon is the jewel in the Bauhaus crown and he whips up a great breakfast (even got a delicious plantain surprise with mine. Full British, and we are better off as a country for guys like Devon

I can't tell you how much we love this place. So incredibly friend and the food is just perfect. I'd love to see this place open later through the summer for late dinner and a beer with some happy music. Even if it was only till 9 or 10pm. Just delightful.
Julie and Devon did us proud, we had reserved a table for a lunchtime meeting. Welsh cakes (yeah so impressed ?) and Earl Grey tea to boost the little grey cells. Lots of chat and a scrummy Greek Salad for lunch. Thank you guys for a beautiful and intriguing place full of light and good humour. We'll be back for more joy. ❤️

Such an unusual place with wonderful Caribbean food and Dev is a big character. It takes time for the food to come but all is cooked fresh to order.
