A little jewel hidden in the Bridgend countryside.. nestled in a country house. A very fine restaurant with delicious food and pleasant surroundings. Wonderful service. Highly

Bokhara is a delightful, hidden gem of Bridgend. Best Indian... period!I have been attending this restaurant for many years and am always recommending this as the first choice for dining when friends and family visit.I often take the Mrs here as we love the baked salmon and selection of curries. The decor and atmosphere are very traditional and with an open kitchen and livestream TV, you can watch the chefs prepare your food. The bar is always well stocked, and toilets remind me of school. The corridor is full of signs, pictures, etc, of celebrities and dignities who have attended the restaurant, as well as their numerous awards.I recommend trying the fresh breads that are baked on site, fresh in the tandoor oven. The staff are always friendly and attentive.Plenty of parking, however it is tucked away with little signage. Follow the road into Court Colman Manor and drive around the back of the building.

Been to this restaurant many times over the years, and have always loved the place! Food has always been amazing, staff are always friendly and welcoming, and we come back time and time again. Always recommend to any family and friends that come to visit us!

Ate at the restaurant twice this week and can only describe the food as WOW 10/10. Staff are very friendly and the chef is a wizard with food. The Rara Gosht Punjabi is the best curry I have ever eaten. My Wife informed me yhat her steak was also fantastic. Can't recommend this enough.

Great lamb shashlik with plenty of meat. Rice was cooked to perfection. Chips were OK. Cobra beer was really cold second night had steak which again was spot on. All in all was very satisfied with my visit. Will definitely go again.Parking: 30+ parking spaces around restaurant and hotel.

My family and I were recommended to come to the Bokhara brasserie by a close friend and we were not disappointed. This unassuming restaurant attached to a gorgeous Manor House surprised us with the best curry of our lives. We knew we were in for a treat as we walked in a full wall adorned with trophies and certificates of best curries multiple years in a row. You can tell the chefs, Nandalal and manni and head chef Bhanu really love what they do everything tasted so beautiful and authentic, and they took the time to ask us how we liked our spice However, Not only was it some of the best food I’ve ever had the wait staff Alice and Restaurant manager Archish were lovely and very personable as well knowledgeable. This place is the definition of hospitality and food done well.

The authentic Indian taste. Warning, if you like ‘western Indian tasting food and small portions this IS NOT for you. We had the pleasure of eating here last night and the food is the best we have had since we ate Indian food in the Indian continent. Fresh spices are expertly blended to make a more than plentiful dish of a variety of meats infused with their blend of sauces. The meats are chunky and big, the array of side dishes are wonderful and their types of rice are bountiful. The restaurant is very clean and big with the kitchen designed to be viewed by the paying public being either in person or by cctv screens which are placed around the eating areas; yes, this in itself is a revelation and entertaining. The waiting staff are nothing short of professional and attend to your every culinary need. We enjoyed every second while we were there, just make sure you have a good appetite! My wife could not eat all of her mains course, and again the serving staff came to the rescue and packaged up the remainder of her food for us to use at our leisure at home. Thank you guys, we will be seeing you again at the end of the week.

Absolutely disappointed. Some food came out quick others were waiting an hour. A number of us had to have are Currys replaced as they were wrong. My chicken was solid and looked like it had been reheated. The colour on the chicken was not right. It was replaced but with a curry I didn’t order. Popodoms were definitely shop bought and not fresh. The staff were rude and were full of attitude. Absolutely disgusted with the place and will definitely not be returning

Went to an exhibition in court colman and decided last minute to see if we could get a table at the Bokhara. They fitted us in and we weren't dissapointed! The food was amazing and the service was great. One of the best Indian cuisine we have ever tasted. Proper authentic and flavoursome food. And even the chips were fresh. Would definitely recommend anyone going in this direction to try them out. There's something for all level of curry lovers. Even a menu for those who don't like curry

I had a work meeting / evening here and it was a good choice. Very friend staff who are more than happy to help. Food was amazing and very fairly priced. The Court Coleman, where this restaurant is located is very special indeed.

I have stayed at the hotel a few times and also eaten in this restaurant three times now. The environment is very nice, and all the staff are friendly. The service is reasonably prompt, and the food is excellent. I had the Chicken Chettinard (not that hot, even thow it is 3 chillies on the menu), Tarka Dal, Pilau etc., and it was exceptional. Very tasty indeed, and I eat out quite a lot, due to travelling for work. The one thing I had a problem with was giving a tip. I can pay by card, but they only take tips in cash, so I was unable to adquately thank my two young serving ladies or the chefs behind the counter. Take some cash, or, alternatively, the management could move into the 21st century and get a card processor with a tip option :). Writing a Tripadvisor review (as I was invited to) may help the business, but you also need to look after your junior staff in their pockets when they do a great job!Kid-friendliness: It has a family atmosphereParking: Plenty of space, overflow car park.
