Very much enjoyed our stay here at the Manor! Loved the traditional features mixed together with the beautiful decor of the rooms. Very welcoming and friendly staff and a fabulous breakfast in the morning. We stayed twice on 2 seperate occasions now and have not been disappointed. Rooms are lovely and clean with fresh bedding and linen. Soft lighting with a touch lamp making it easy for early morning feeds with a newborn. Very family friendly and would highly recommend.

Court Coleman is a wonderful place to hold your wedding. The oldy worldly feel and stunning grounds and views add to the charm but the staff make all the difference. In particular, the attention to detail by Alison the wedding planner, made the day run smoothly. For my niece and now nephew, and all their family and friends, it was the most magical day. Thank you Alison, and all at Court Coleman.

We had our wedding here and I couldn’t of asked for better service and my family enjoyed there stay too, Alison who organised our wedding did a fab job, went above and beyond for us and it made the day very special

There's a railway at the bottom of the garden, that they fail to mention, the staff where brilliant but the building is tired and in need of serious maintenance, they don't have a restaurant only an Indian restaurant at the rear ,Indian menu is good but the English section is dyre, our room had broken glass in the window, the plug holes in the bathroom gurgled and smelt of bad drains when the floor above used their bathroom. Altogether a poor experience for the cost

Highly recommend Court Colman for a wedding venue. We had our wedding here with 85 day guests and approx 120 night guests in the middle of August 2023, including ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception. From the first meeting we fell in love with the venue and knew we wanted to get married here. We had a food tasting and few meetings with Alison and she is so experienced and knowledgeable of the venue so knew what to recommend and what would work and what wouldn’t. She answered all of my countless emails asking silly questions as I didn’t know how all this worked but nothing was too much trouble. We are a same sex couple and we both wanted to walk down the aisle without seeing each other before hand. Alison made this happen and our wish came true, she came up and got us from our rooms in the morning separately and organised our entrances. The staff were extremely helpful, we stayed the night before fully expecting to set up for the next day by doing our table layout, signs, favours and decorations but by the time we arrived Alison had it covered and we offered to help but she said she would do it - it was perfect and helped relieved stress the night before. There were a few hiccups on the day like a day guest turning up who hadn’t RSVP’d so didn’t have a place for them but Alison and the staff sorted it out and the guest had a place. We had a few dietary requirements and the staff were so attentive to the guests with requirements and everyone got what they wanted. I even had compliments from my 2 vegan guests saying that the food was incredible and they really loved how thoughtful the staff were. The staff turned around the rooms so quickly and were always on hand to help. Alison helped keeping our timings and other jobs like encouraging guests to sign our guest book, these little things make the day go smoother and now we can look back at lovely messages instead of blank pages. We truly had the best day and want to do it again in a heartbeat. We cannot thank the court colman staff enough and the grounds and venue speak for itself. We are awaiting our professional photos but can’t wait to have them back to relive memories of the day again.

We were married at court coleman yesterday 26.08.23. The staff were incredible. Really couldn’t do enough for us. Accommodated everything we asked for. Definitely a day to remember. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. Fresh towels provided and fluffy pillows. We could have had breakfast in bed or go down stairs whichever we preferred. Food was lovely. Full English amongst other foods. Our coordinator for our wedding was a superstar. Again, very accommodating. With all the stress (from a brides points of view in planning etc) Alison really took all that away. I would definitely recommend that anyone go and take a look for themselves. The venue for a wedding/function or anything else is definitely worth it. Very pretty ceremony rooms. Very spacious and bright. The gardens are beautiful. Will 100% recommend to everyone. We can’t wait to go back for our 1 year anniversary stay. Thankyou all

Private function which included a buffet curry but there was no chicken in the curry. Had to wait for some to be added to the sauce, but the food was very tasty and we had a lovely evening. Great venue.

Great two night stay on business. Very good price. Place needs a little bit of upgrading but doesn't detract from the overall experience. Restaurant attached to the hotel was really good great service and real fine food. I will be staying here again real soon.

This is an absolutely beautiful Manor house. The staff are absolutely lovely, very friendly and helpful. The rooms and building are very tired and could do with an upgrade, modernisation and a huge amount if money spent on it instead of patching with paint and filler and making do.The age of the building is not represented in some of the decor and it could be so so much nicer if the owners gave it a full upgrade. Our room had a broken window, a worn carpet, tired looking fixtures and fittings and wallpaper coming off the walls. The bed was comfortable and it had amazing views.Despite of the upgrade needed I would stay again.

Requested a quiet room but was told there was no wedding the night we had booked so it should be quiet. Oh how wrong they were. The wedding party for the next day had arrived and allowed their kids to run amock up and down the corridor until the early hours. The walls are so thin we should hear everyone's conversations as they walked/ran past our room. Not the hotels fault, of course. However they really need to upgrade the soundproofing, get decent bedroom doors and put quiet door closing mechanisms on the corridor and bedroom doors. Our bathroom wall had light shining through at the top from the room next door. The dividing wall must have moved to create such a large crack. Meant that the people getting ready for the wedding from 5.30am woke us up. I could actually hear every word they were saying and everything they did in the bathroom. To make things worse there was no way to close our bathroom door so I couldn't shut any of the light or sound out. How can a hotel not have any way to close a bathroom door from the outside? You could lock it from the inside but not just pull it closed.Breakfast was cheap bacon and sausages, cheap bread to toast on the unpredictable toaster and a few boxes of cereal. Very disappointing.Nothing to do in the evening. Were told we could walk the extensive grounds but it took us about 5 mins.Family room was basic but functional. The double bed made a horrible noise every time you moved so that added to the list of things keeping everyone awake.Wish we'd stayed in a travel lodge and saved some money.

Was there for a wedding a while back but didn't stay in the hotel. Food and service were okay but not outstanding. The location is good and gives nice photo opportunities. It felt weird that the loos were shared with the Indian (?) restaurant at the back.

Wife and I stayed in the honeymoon suite. This is the best place I have stayed in, wonderful building and stunning rooms throughout. Service was excellent and the owner came and joined us and made us feel so welcome. 5 star it should be 6 !

Attended my friends wedding here and what can I say everything was perfect from start to finish. From the moment we checked in the night before to leaving on the Sunday morning staff could not do enough for us. Everyone we met went out of their way to ensure all our needs were met and the whole day went like clockwork. You could see the wedding co ordinator was very hands on, I saw her when we came down for breakfast in the morning and she was still there late into the evening ensuring everything was organised. Kudos as well to the bar team and reception team a young crowd mostly yet professional and friends all the same. Our room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was plentiful with a buffet offered on both mornings. All in all a lovely weekend break, perfect venue for a wedding with beautiful grounds.

The hotel is in a picturesque setting in a rural area. The rooms and the hotel itself are not modernised & need updating. There was no lift. The breakfast meal was spoilt by a hot buffet that was heated up, cool and not appetising.Rooms: Not comfortable and need updating.

A wedding showcase was happening here so went for a look around. Beautiful place with lots to offer. Nice idyllic surroundings. Perfect place for a wedding venue.
