Food is ok here, there are better places, it's also expensive. Fish, Chips & mushy peas x 2 = just over £25.

Really tiny portions. We don't usually come here. When I challenged the woman she didn't give a stuff and looked at me like I was mad. Chips pretty hard and cold. I really wouldn't bother using again. Best place us Tinos or oh my cod. Realistic potion size for the same money. Don't waste your time

I always find this shop excellent. I have never had a bad meal from there. The staff are friendly and the area is spotless. There is a wide selection of meals. The prices have risen over the past year or so but the meals are so fresh and tasty that it is worth it.

My husband bought 2 fish and chips at £25 absolutely awful, fish was overcooked, batter inedible really poorHave always used this chip shop as live on Broadlands but won’t waste my money again.

Called in after work today 28/06/23 18.00 quit busy,order 2 large cod,1 large chips, regular mushy please.Very miserable young lady,called me to the counter, large cod was extremely small,so I commented, is the cod large,was told that's all we have left,so ime paying for large and not getting large.something like that.Large chips were ordered, 1 scoop didn't bother arguing, just felt totally humiliated, young lady slapped it on the counter,no bag,so i again commented, i don't need a bag then,completely ignored, £21.00 for what we get at oh my cod for £8.95.i will never enter the premises again absolutely disgusting.

So expensive with portions that get smaller each time you visit. Out of touch with reality and still living off an award granted 20 years ago. With so many other, great, fish and chip shops to choose from in Bridgend there really is no need to visit here.

finnegans fish bar broadlands keeps putting their prices up but the fish and chips are smaller portions too come on lower your prices and regain your value customers sorry to announce this drop your prices or you be out of business no joke
Will never go here again, had 2 pastie's which cost 3:00 pound each 1 pastie was soggy and the other was solid,complained about the pasties and was told I can warm you up 2 more pastie's but unable to give a re fund asked for just 1 sausage and batter on its own and she gave chips with it when that wasn't asked for, and charged almost £20 high priced and the food aweful.

We’ve been to Finnegan’s many times & had lovely fish from there. We went on Sun 12th Feb ,ordered fish , twice fried so batter is crispy & chips. We took them home & opened box to see fish looked very greasy & when cut could see batter wasn’t cooked properly& chips were pale & greasy. They were returned& we were given fresh which again were undercooked

What a rip off!! They seem to have stopped doing batterless cod and I now know why. How else can you charge £7.75 for loads of batter and hardly any cod. Never going back.

Just bought faggets peas and chips. And extra gravy. Chips were pale, faggets were cold and very salty. The extra gravy was also salty. 0 out 10

I genuinely can’t believe the portion size that for £11 worth of food… a regular chips honestly gave 9 chips each for 3 people. I’m sure the portions become less and less each year with the prices going higher, and higher.
