A little delay in receiving our meals, but it was Bank Holiday, otherwise exceptional.

First visit after newly refurbished, it's absolutely stunning inside. Family of 8 , the service was over and beyond , lovely efficient ,caring, jolly staff. The food was faultless, well priced, beautifully presented ,quick arrival considering 8 of us and it was busy. 8 meals , 8 soft drinks ,2 coffee £161..excellent value.Great job everyone ??

The food is excellent, the service prompt, the staff are always really friendly and welcoming and there's always a nice buzz about the place. My favourite local ?

With the place just having a full refurbishment the pub hasn't lost it's character but looks fresh and inviting. We as a party of 6 where seated and drinks taken straight away. We placed order for starters and mains and didn't wait long for food to arrive. When we finished the mains 3 of us just had enough room for dissert and didn't have to wait long for that.Definitely highly recommend as the food was amazing, portion size was very generous and the service was excellent. If you've got any dietary requirements they are happy to cater for you if possible. Will I go again YES.Will I recommend YES.

Great pub. Staff were warm and welcoming. Place was full and filled with life and great atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble.Food was tasty with good options. Can’t wait to visit againVegetarian options: Chefs made a vegetarian curry as I really didn’t want to miss out on the curry of the dayDietary restrictions: Staff went out of their way to go through all the gluten options.Parking: Plenty of parking spaces in the front and behind the pubKid-friendliness: Staff offered some crayons and paper for the children when they got too bored. Nice break for mum and dadWheelchair accessibility: Easy access to disabled toilets

No greeting at the door. Totally ignored for 20 minutes. Allowed other customers who came in after us who shoved one of our party out the way. When we asked the barmaid for a menu, the reaction I was given, you’d have thought I’d have asked her for her bank pin. Saw us sat at a table and came over 30 minutes later to say the table was for drinkers only.Awful service. 1* is generous.

Brilliant place. Went for birthday celebrations. The food was fantastic, servers went above and beyond with all 10 of our orders. Had a great laugh with a brunette server! Nothing was too much trouble. Myself and the family most certainly will be returning

Had a pleasant evening with a very tasty meal. There's a relaxed atmosphere here. Menu choice is fairly small but I wouldn't complain about it as the food was excellent. Reasonably priced too. Will probably go back.

Ordered ham egg & chips which was cold , ordered 2 well done steaks & when they arrived they were cold & they had blood running from them. They apologised took them away & brought us new ones which were burnt & hard . We ate what we could paid the bill which came to £96 . I just wanted to get out of there . We will not be returning as we feel we might as well have thrown the £96 down the drain.

Had a superb Christmas party at the Four crosses, all 16 of us were very impressed with the 3 course Christmas set menu. I had the duck & brandy pate as a starter which was very tasty, for mains I had the turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Everything was cooked to perfection and plenty of food on the plate, the pigs in blankets, turkey and gravy were standouts . To finish I had the traditional Christmas pudding which I was struggling to finish being so full. The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for them at all, we never felt rushed despite them being full with other parties and locals at the bar. All our group had a great time and would definitely recommend the four crosses for their Christmas menu.
