Indian Restaurants in Bridgend

“Me an a work mate decided to walk down to Ashoka Tandoori when staying at the best Western as the food prices in the hotel were ridiculous and poor quality and it was the best decision we ever made. Food was excellent, 5 star and the staff were lovely. Very welcoming and friendly with top service. Highly recommended to anyone in the area. Good prices aswell. Well worth the money.”

“We haven't visited for a while (no excuse). The food has always been at or near the top of the tree and still is as far as our party was concerned. Great staff. Very busy on the night we visited (fortunately we had booked). No alcohol sold but you are welcome to bring your own. Public car park behind restaurant but it's normally very busy.”

“Ordered a medium lamb curry. I always ask if the lamb is tender and fat free. The waiter advised it was.I can honestly say it was one of the best curries I have ever had and I've had more than my fair share. The lamb was delicious no fat at all.I was one of a party of four all the meals were thoroughly enjoyed, piping hot, portion sizes were spot on. If in the area again we will definitely return. Price was very reasonable too. Thank you for your excellent food and service.Vegetarian options: One of our party is vegan and was very happy with the selection”

“I am very happy to leave this review… I am a little particular about my food and had been recommended to here by a friend. I decided to pay a visit before ordering by phone as I like to see how clean a place is and to get a feel for how it runs. I was not disappointed! The place is meticulously clean and there is a zen of organised calm but working well type of vibe emanating from the kitchen with a delightfully helpful person up front called Ruby who was providing service and taking orders. I wasn’t sure what to order so said what I fancied and Ruby came up with some suggestions saying how she could tune a particular curry to slightly milder or sweeter or more spicy according to my taste. The dishes were spot on and the meat was cooked to perfection. This little Gem of a place will most definitely be my go to curry house from now on. Highly recommend and they deliver.Parking: Right next to the car park in Aberkenfig just behind the Prince Public house.Kid-friendliness: The food can be made less spicy for children and sweeter too if you have a picky eater!”

“Consistently good food. My husband always has the Nepal Gurkha lamb and really rates it and I've enjoyed every meal we've had there.”
