I live about a ten minute walk away, pop in quite often for a few beers and a mealWe had two very nice burgers on the Tuesday deal and a few beers and a coffeeOnly down side was most of the tables were reserved but nobody there after time they were reserved for, nearly went else where. The young man at the bar cleared a few tables for us and a few other people looking for food. Could very well have lost the trade if not for him.Reluctant to walk that far to be turned away with empty tables available, we made the effort to turn up a phone call and then not turn up is not good enough. How many potential customers went else where on this occasion and maybe many others.Parking: Loads spaces in pub and quite a few on roadKid-friendliness: Always friendly to familiesWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room and space

Thrilled to witness the Llangewydd Arms reclaiming its former charm! After a stint as a sports bar with gaudy decor, it's now back to its warm, cosy roots. During a recent lunch visit, I savored the familiar traditional ambiance with a modern touch. The menu might not be flashy, but my scampi and chips hit the spot. Affordable, ample portions, and timely service make it a family favourite once again. Perfect for locals seeking a friendly atmosphere and comfortable seating for easy conversations. Went for a meal and while the food was great enjoyed the steak, the staff were plain rude and the way they spoke to custmers was disgusting! To hear one of the male staff say he was going to be swinging punches soon to the whole bar was the cherry on top. Shame as the price and food were great. Massively let down by the staff.
very polite bar staff, food ordered cod and chips mushy peas and surf and turf with a naked salad. food arrived quite quickly but unfortunately the salad ordered with the surf and turf wasn't naked, bar staff took the order back but brought it out after a few mins to tell us that the salad had no dressing on at all as requested, but my partner knowing her salad was adamant that there was some sort of oil or salad dressing of some kind. My cod and chips was perfect, but needless to say my partner was disappointed and only ate her steak and scampi leaving the "undressed salad" where it was. We have a family gathering just after Christmas when we will be attending the pub, so hopefully this salad issue will be addressed by then
