Food was enjoyed by everyone (6)No movement on changing order from what is on the menu. Just wanted chips instead of bread.

Unfortunately our first visit didn't wow us. Yes it is cheaper food, but it's quality should still be good. Had a cheese burger which was tasteless and burgers were dry. Rib-eye steak was poor quality and wasn't cooked medium as requested, it was well done. Chips were cold. Cobwebs on lights where we sat. Staff friendly though.

Food is amazing so much for the price and great quality we come here frequently and I would recommend to everyone sadly no pictures as I was starving!! The ginger guy with the great beard is a amazing host makes you feel so welcome ☺️

Barman said he didn't have a table for 5 but a customer said there's one next to us over there so he went over in the opposite direction and said "will this one do".I accepted and called my family in. We sat down and read the menu. I went to the bar to order, asked for hunters chicken, and was told that they had no chicken and no fish. This was at 6pm on a Saturday. I would have walked out but had 2 hungry grandchildren so we had burgers. The food was lukewarm and over priced for the quality/quantity. We will not be going back, very amateur and disappointing.

My first and last time eating at The Mill House. No. 1 there is a sign at the entrance saying wait here to be seated. So we waited. There were 2 female staff members stood chatting, they knew we were there because they kept looking over but then carried on chatting. In the end the bar staff told us to go find a table.2. The table (31) was sticky and had seen better days.3. The pub is filthy. Walls with sauce, and other food matter thrown on them then left to dry. Radiators filthy and horrible. The ladies toilets are disgusting. I was bursting but I would have peed in bushes than use these toilets.I was shocked that a pub could be so filthy dirty and hasnt been closed down! I think if they were to be inspected right now they wouldn't even get 1 star rating.Overall - The staff need training in Customer service, especially the one who ignored customers and spent more time outside smoking and on her phone.The whole place needs a deep clean.The food was average, I have been in better greasy spoons to be honest.I would not recommend The Mill House to anyone.Shame really a nice pub in a prime position and it's being run by staff that very obviously don't like their job. First and definitely the last time visiting The Mill House, Broughton. It's 0 stars from us!
