Tesco's is one of the best supermarkets. Definitely recommend getting a clubcard. Great discounts. Helpful staff.

One word: hell. Unfortunately this is my local Tesco Extra and it’s awful. It’s too big, yet you still can never find everything you want; it’s either out of stock or they don’t sell it. A quick shopping trip for a couple of things takes much longer than it should trying to find anything. Due to the fact it’s within a shopping complex, there seem to be a higher number of families in there with screeching kids. It’s also full of staff with the massive trolleys getting the click and collect orders.

If i could give no stars i would. Staff is disgraceful and rude and get a high from turning 2 adults away for buying alcohol as one person didn’t have id even tho we are both 20 years old. they used they’re headset to follow us around whilst we were shopping for food and made us feel like criminals. came back 15 mins later, without the friend that didn’t have id and they still turned me away. before my second attempt, i asked 3 members of staff on the shopfloor their policy on buying alcohol accompanied with someone without id and all 3 said it wont be a problem. i asked blatantly to 1 of the 3, of these staff members, what the policy was with buying alcohol in this store and he was unsure. came back with both our ids and was still followed by 3 middle aged women. the man who wouldn’t serve me was the same man who served us both when we had to drive all the way back with our ids. he asked if i wanted a receipt for the alcohol and i said “ yes don’t want to get tackled on the way out” as a joke and he said that could be arranged with a straight face.Not so concerned with they’re awkwardness of selling alcohol, more concerned about different staff giving different opinion on how they can sell alcohol. store manager needs to make sure all staff members know the policy on selling alcohol therefore it’s not one rule for one and another for the other depending on who’s serving you.i would like a response to this.

Came into store to buy clothes, great choice but no changing rooms, which means go home try on & if not suitable a return visit which for me is totally inconvenient. Why do away with the changing rooms it's certainly not for the convenience of the customer. ?

Absoulte discusting treatment by your staff discrimination in 2023 wow. Debbie your so called till manager is a bigot simple as that. Did speak to a so called duty manager about this (sarah) still not herd back.....

Had lunch at the cafe today, staff are excellent and food is really nice. My only big complaint is that the air conditioning in this cafe and store, really needs to be addressed. It was absolutely freezing, l had to eat my food with my coat on and the collar turned up. I didn't enjoy my lunch, simply because I was so cold. Most customers had to leave their coats on. Come on tesco Broughton, sort out your air conditioning, or l'm sure customers will go elsewhere. Was lovely to get outside in the warm sunshine to thaw out.

Save time using self checkout and they still want to scan everything in the trolly breaking everything! Oh and update to this review they did another ‘random’ check again! Where’s the manager, this is removing the need for self checkout and by the way there were no issues with what we had scanned so what’s going on!

The new cafe is great and so child friendly. The breakfasts are good value, but the coffee tasted like disinfectant.Kids loved the basic menu, the over the top bits everywhere else put them off. So refreshing to see just boiled egg and toast.
