What a find Excellent service excellent food at very competitive prices and a warm welcome for our staffie Ollie. The two young girls behind the bar were so friendly and greeted us like locals. We would definitely recommend this place if you want delicious food and a friendly atmosphere

Visited on a Sunday so ended up with Sunday lunch. Absolutely gorgeous lunch!! Not a usual case of bland tasteless veg because they’ve been stewing for hours at all!!! The meat and vegetables were fresh and extremely Tasty!!! So nice that we had to try the Apple pie pudding!! OMG!! That was Devine!!! Would 100% recommend lunch here!!! The staff were very helpful and obliging too- thank you for a lovely few hours.

Managed to get a last-minute booking for Sunday lunch today. How lucky we were! A lovely warm welcome from the staff and a choice of Roast Sirloin of Beef, Pork, Turkey or Vegetarian options with a good selection of veggies including roast potatoes, carrots, swede, cabbage, peas and cauliflower cheese, delicious gravy too! We finished our meal with home-made cheesecake. We really enjoyed and the service was attentive and quick. Highly recommend the lunch in The Coasting Pilot We'll be back! Thank you!

In terms of food, it's fantastic. The service is fast and the staff are very friendly, food is delicious and of high quality and standard and is presented extremely well and is very appetising.Haven't stayed there so I can't review the hotel experience.
