Very disappointed today been here a few times over the last few years and been very impressed, we ordered a small breakfast and a Betty's breakfast the server dropped my toast on the table and didn't ask us to replace it, also our eggs were burnt and dry ,I had one piece of cold bacon that tasted dry and not fresh the 3 mushrooms I had to be pressed to remove all the oil, it just wasn't as nice as previous visits.

The service was slow despite it not being very busy. We had 2 flat white coffees, a prawn sandwich and a very sad looking BLT. We paid £20. We have had much better in other establishments with sandwiches coming with a small salad/crisps/chips etc. at a far better price.

Went in and asked for an afternoon tea for two the girl serving wasn't sure about wether they were serving it that day and asked a colleague who said yes they were so we sat down ordered a soft drink and awaited or afternoon tea after half an hour the girl returns to us stating that we can't have am afternoon tea as we need to book it in advance absolute shambles it only gets a 1 star rating as we ordered 2 cans of coke and we were given them frustrated is an understatement will never recommend to anyone

We came here for breakfast as the name Betty is the name of my mum who we sadly lost earlier this year. Reading the story of the Betti who inspired the cafe was really special. The breakfast was lovely and staff very welcoming

Tried this little gem of a cafe today. Pleasant waitresses, quick service, clean and very reasonably priced. Lovely homemade cakes only £2.75 . The breakfast seemed really good value at £7.00, including a drink , we'll have to try that next time .

Lovely little cafe, ordered a cream tea which was well priced, I swapped my tea with a member of my party for a lovely deluxe hot chocolate, which had many marshmallows and a lot of cream. The scone was nice, good jam and clotted cream.

Fantastic little Cafe. Very friendly staff, very welcoming, gorgeous breakfast and best of all, they were more than happy for our dog to come and sit inside with us. Even offered him a dog biscuit.
