Excellent food served by very friendly staff. The restaurant has always been quiet because we tend to eat early evening so our 4 star for atmosphere isn't a mark down. We use Sopna most times that we visit Llanrug. Never been disappointed with the food, service or the staff here.

Absolutely loved the food...the best Indian takeaway I've ever had plus they were very kind enough to allow me to park and stay in my campervan overnight in their car park. Top top people.

We have had takeaway from here a few times. We live quite close so its convenient but unfortunately the food is of pretty low quality and we stopped going some time ago.

We visited Sopna last Saturday evening. As has always been the case with takeaways the food was excellent. This was the first time eating at the restaurant however and despite booking a table a week in advance we were given a table next to the paying area and where people were collecting takeaway orders This meant constantly having people stood next to you while eating and being knocked by bags and arms. Definitely spoiled the neal despite the food being excellent. Will stick to takeaway in future

I don't write reviews often but this meal was so poor I felt I had to. I ordered a Welsh lamb curry, it was chewy, fatty, and gristly and the sauce was an oil-fest. Their menu shows acceptance of card payment but on collection I was told they only accept cash. And the cashier cheekily joked of keeping the change, that's one way of making sure you don't get a tip. I won't be going there again.
Food: butter nan, pilau rice, vegetable Bhai and chicken tikka masala were delicious. The mixed grill and chicken Bhaji was not good at all.Service: very prompt and with a smile.Atmosphere: there was a fly in the restaurant and it kept on buzzing. Instead of tissue papers, the restaurant should invest in linen napkins. The facilities were cleanValue for money: pretty good. The set meal for two at £40 was very good value for money.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options.Parking: Large parking lot in front of the restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Chicken and lamb are halal. The waiter confirmed it when asked.

Getting there: If you drive, the restaurant has a large parking lot Interior: The restaurant has a nice interior. It is generally clean but there was a fly that bothered us. The linen was tissue paper, not cloth napkins. The bathroom was clean. Service: Reasonably good service. The gentleman who smiled us was all smiles and attentive Food: Not so good and the key reason for a three star score. We took the £40 set meal for two. The butter nan and chicken tikka masala was delicious. The chicken korma was not so much. The chicken and lamb are halal Value for money: Lots of food for £40. Great value for money. We had two starters, four mains and a dessert. The worse bit: They had the same CD of Bangladeshi music on the loop. We probably heard the same set of songs at least five time

Superb restaurant with top notch service from the staff. Would happily go again in a heart beat and brilliant view of the hills at sunset too. Will be back when in North Wales again.

So first i will say there was a bit of a mix up with our take away order but they rectefied it the moment i called and sent us the correct food very quickly The staff are lovely The food was AMAZING And we will be going again and taking my mum and her boyfriend We had Butter chicken Chicken korma They were better than anything else ive tasted both localy and further affeild We also got to keep the original mix up order wich has ended up in our freezer for a rainy day The restaurant itself is clean and well put together Perfect for a date night or family meal ???? Im so full Im so happy ???
