Ordered a small and medium chips with spicy curry sauce. They were both smaller portions than expected. I worked out the cost from the prices on the board. But turned out that was wrong as their prices have gone up ! Surely, like in a shop with wrong pricing displayed this is illegal. Trading Standards!!

Good quality food. Batter not too thick. No disgusting grease bubbles, Great staff, never have any probs in 22 years.

Truly dreadful. The order was messed up. Our fish was given to another customer by mistake. Only large fish available. Waited ages due to their mistake. They had no change so had to wait again. When we ate our peas they were burnt and smelt awful. Our first and last visit. Avoid.

Not impressed! Medium sized portion of chips was ridiculously small and we dont like large portions. Lots of burnt bits in there from previous frying. Fish was ok but greasy. Young girl serving was lovely though. Wont be going again!
Advisable to avoid this place as they clearly don't like tourists, they had nothing left, stated that they could something but there attitude clearly said otherwise. Very rude. Avoid

Awesome chips but the fish batter was so soggy that it was grim. The fish was cooked but we ended up scraping the batter off one side as it was totally soggy - looked like it hadn’t been cooked well unfortunately. Certainly not the crispy batter that we hoped for.

This place is cash only, so had to go to the co-op to use the cash machine which is broken so you have to make a purchase to have cash back. Food not given in a carrier bag just loose, had large fish and chips a sausage and chips two large curry sauce and a pot of mushy peas so had all that to carry and balance on my lap in the car, the fish hadn't been wrapped properly so while it was on my lap a chunk of fish fell out onto my cars mat and left loads of grease all over my jogging bottoms. So now my joggers are ruined cus you can't get grease out of Ur clothes and my car stinks of fish and will need cleaning all this wouldn't be so much of a problem if the food was outstanding but it wasn't, he chips were like scraps and over cooked oh and also the curry sauce pot split so there was also curry everywhere. But my partner said the fish was good ?
