Would not rate this Costa at all, girl not very friendly when I questioned had my beans be added very surly said can take 24 hours ,asked for my receipt tutted and threw it across the counter .

Arrived at 4.50 pm as we purposely visited this shop due to the closure time of 6pm but was met by a very ill mannered female staff member who just stated "are you looking for a takeaway drink as we are closing.". When I queried it being a 6pm closure time, she just replied "well we're closing at 5" and just got on with her cleaning. Completely lacked customer service skills. I shall not be rushing back anytime soon

Unpleasant male worker. Visited the shop at 4:30pm knowing it does not close until 6. Worker did not know the meaning of manners and was very blunt. He Was sweeping around us at 5pm under the table and chairs when the shop was near enough empty and made us feel as though we had to leave. The smell of bodily odour was also very strong.

Used to enjoy having a Costa treat during shopping, but of late establishment is looking run down, terrible attitude off one member of staff, and overall not a pleasant experience visiting. As a rule, I don't leave bad reviews, everone has bad days, but on this occasion felt it was justified. To leave on a positive note, the young man serving at the till was very polite and helpful.

On arrival one very hard working barista and one other person who we assume was the manager trying to look busy and ignoring the queue that was developing.Good manager skills should have meant that he would help the young barista who was taking the money and making the drinks.This happens frequently in Costa so just walked out and spent our £15 in another Coffee shop Very poor management skills

Visited today ordered toast when it came it was really pale asked for it to be done more which she did but only on one side so she re did it again and then rock hard also ordered two Portuguese tarts pastry was soggy and filling did not taste good so left it the caerphilly one is much better staff are friendly and polite but need to do the toast on both sides and not sell stale cakes.

Good venue being a former pub converted a few years ago to a Costa, good quality drinks and snacks although expect a wait as is often busy

Took drinks back for replacement they was awful for the young girl to literally throw them on the counter no sorry customer service stinks rang and spoke to relief manager and her attitude was exactly the same see where the staff get it from . Save your money and go elsewhere plenty of other Coffee shops in Blackwood that need your money because obviously these don’t ?

Friendly, clean and comfy. Baristas first class, with loads of banter and welcoming smiles. Good range of products as usual with Costa.
