“Hold on for a lengthy review. First, I'd like to say I was disappointed seeing the low star review for this place. Then I realised, most people rate a place when they've had a poor experience and those that enjoyed their food ate and then went and did something else, or went to bed. Anyway, I took the time today to give this place, where my husband and I have frequented for years, a positive review.I can't defend all their food, because we always get the doner kebabs. My husband a regular and me the chicken. We have always gotten polite service, although the owner is very quiet. The food may vary from one visit to another, but I can say we always enjoy it. Tonight was particularly nice and tasty. We went in around 6pm and everything was fresh. We got the usual healthy portions and both were full and satisfied after eating.In all the visits we've made over the years, neither of us have gotten ill after eating there as I've seen others complain.We love Castle Kabab and we think you should give it a try.I should have taken a photo, but we ate it too quickly and every drop. “Haven’t had food from here in a long while, heard about new owners and the most recent reviews on here have been very negative, but having received a new menu through the letter box we thought we would give it a go. And are glad we did! Plenty of options, including vegan choices, all the food was delicious! Huge portions too meaning there is plenty left for tomorrow, so glad to have such a great takeaway so close and will be back again soon!”

“Been here a few times always had lovely food and service but this time they where slow didn't came to take our dirty dishes had to go to the bar and ask someone to clean up plus we had to order dessert and more drinks and at the end had to pay at the bar and they took a while to find our order to pay, won't go there for a while now so hopefully when we do it will be better.”
