Currently on a business trip in the area looking for a good Indian Restaurant we found this place. At first I had concerns because I read mixed reviews on Google. But I have to say, the service was really friendly, attentive and helpful when ordering. For starters we ordered onion, bhaji, which was served after 10 minutes and was freshly prepared. For the main course we ordered various curries, side dishes and naan bread. Everything tasted very good. It was well seasoned and served hot. The portions were big enough that we couldn't even eat everything. I can fully recommend the food there and can only advise everyone to try it out.Parking: Free parking after 6pm behind the Restaurant

Amazing food! I usually live 100 miles away but whenever I travel to the area this becomes my go to place for an Indian. I like the authentic touch and the service just goes beyond. The lamb dish is amazing.

I ordered tonight on Uber eats and wow, the food is lovely, hot and tasty, the delivery driver was really lovely and so was the man who I spoke to on the phone who made the effort to let me know when a drink was not in stock! What an absolutely lovely crew and thank you very much for delivering to me, I 100% recommend the food and also customer service! Absolutely fabulous, thank you so much!

Food is absolutely horrid. Patak’s poppadams and a brown (?) raita. Pre-made bajis and dry pakoras. The keema naan had a wafer thin disc of meat in a crispy, shop bought naan bread. The worst was to come though, lamb shatkora with 4 tiny pieces of the toughest, old tasting lamb you can imagine.Very rarely does my body tell me to physically stop eating. Even if a meal isn’t quite to par, I will eat it as I hate waste, but this was truly inedible.Zero armosphere in this musicless, coldly lit shopfront with dirty table runners, plastic menus and waiting staff wearing denim jeans and a baseball cap. His fingernails were dirty and he stuck his thumb inside the bowl to carry it to the table ? he also seemed to have never served food in his life, he was clueless on even basic principles of food service. We expressed, in quiet, that we weren’t happy. His initial offer was to knock £13 off a £70 odd bill. I refused, and the price suddenly dropped to £40. The absolute cheek. I don’t come out to haggle over my food, I come to enjoy a rare treat with my family. I was assured the chef was made aware of the feedback, but I explained that I believe the ‘chef’ knows full well what he’s doing, and instead of providing quality Indian food, is instead providing the bare minimum of food and service with the worst ingredients, asking for full price and then trying his luck with negotiations with the customer (if it even comes to that, since a lot of people feel awkward speaking up against bad food).Crooks. I’ve never felt scammed by a restaurant. Easily the worst dining experience of my entire life, and that is an award that has a lot of competition after years of trying the best and worst places in the UK and abroad.I reluctantly paid the £40 and felt sick as soon as I left. I had to stop in a random shop to buy mints just to get the taste of tough old lamb out of my mouth. You should be ashamed at the ‘food’ you serve and what operation you’re running.

Absolutely a horrid experience. Would give this place a sub zero rating if it were possible. just moved to the area and thought we would try this restaurant, we love Indian food and our last local Indian takeaway were great. Ordered a takeaway and was told delivery would be in 30 mins, it took over 2 hours and 4 phone calls to finally receive our food. The food that was eventually delivered (cold) can only be described as tasteless, unidentifiable, horrible and a million miles below the standard from other Indian food establishments. You would be crazy to ever have anything from the establishment, there are many places better, avoid or be very, very, disappointed.
