1st time tonight I've been to Lotus. Excellent food, more choice with veggies, portions good size and cheaper than some competitors.

Would rate 5 but sadly the quality of the chips have gone downhill over the last year, not fresh most of the time and taste like they've been reheated, numerous occasions where this has happened. Apart from that very tasty and you'll struggle to find better tasting Chinese takeaway in the Caerphilly area. From someone who has tasted them all

Part of the order was poorly executed. The 1/2 special fried rice contained half a small prawn; four small pieces of ham; a small piece of pork ; and a small piece of chicken. Basically rice and peas. I rang to discuss this with management who seemed to not accept the criticism and suggested I was mistaken. Very disappointed.

Ordered from here last night as I remember it being a lovely Chinese, food arrived and the crispy beef was like eating dust and no taste not edible atall. The chips sauce and rice wasn’t enjoyable?17.50 for it to go straight in the bin.. called them to explain this and got offered a discount next time and said they will not refund any money. So annoyed as this used to be a nice Chinese
