Food was appalling burnt and cold tiny portion sizes, bad value for money. The two girls serving are rude and abrupt and laughed at me when I asked for a kebab which I found very condescending. Took 45 mins to make 2 kebabs and gravy with chips awful

I'd heard that it wasn't good, terrible or inedible. I decided to give it a go, I think it's almost impossible to get fish and chips wrong.The place was nice, perfectly adequate, the service was quick enough and definitely friendly and the atmosphere was as a "chip shop" so a winner there too.If it was my place, I would do 3 things differently.I would check the oil quality and get something better. This is a shop selling deep fried food, the oil is one of the most important things in there, don't go cheap on your tools.The salt and vinegar wasn't great, as above, I'd go for the chip shop special vinegar and decent salt rather than table salt but to be fair, most people wouldn't know the difference.Potatoes are the last thing I'd change. There are only 2 potato varieties you can use for quality chips. They're expensive by comparison but everyone can taste the difference with those.In balance, I was expecting bad because the feedback I'd had but was impressed.Worth a try, not going to win any awards but perfectly adequate and friendly

Love this place! Staff are so kind and friendly, I got the box meal and the fish was cooked to perfection and the batter was crispy and golden! Also a homemade onion bahjee which was delicious and went well with the food. They make fresh food on arrival. Definitely recommend this place to all food lovers.

I frequently go to this fish shop and the service there is wonderful, the workers are very polite and have for me personally never messed up an order, the food is very comforting especially after a long day and i would definitely recommend people to try the chicken burger, thats my favourite. I wouldnt pick any other fish shop near me to go and get a meal.

Chippy buttys with sauce 3£ and the size has considerably gone smaller it is literally a rip off about 10 chips not even exaggerating that fish shop has gine greedy and down hill
