Just straigt from the door two polite receptionists, very quick "check in" even late in the night, lots of advice regarding local castles and interesting places. The room itself was very nice and clean, with pink ambient light :). Which was booked very late for a great price. For some, the room like we had is probably standard, but for us, it was a good and calm night in one of the premmier inn hotels. Thank you and best wishes.

Badly in need of some TLC in the Dining area and other areas of the hotel such as stair carpets and corridor carpets.

Excellent hotel spotlessly clean and well presented.Good size room with comfortable king size bed. Situated in quiet location and a peaceful nights sleep. The brewers Fabre pub next door supplies good ‘Pub grub’ food at a reasonable price. The meal deal is a real bonus.

Room was dirty, bathroom as well. Noisy rooms, very hot, no air-conditioning. Nobody could sleep because of the hight temperature. The room and hotel has a very old look. Needs to be refresh. Door to koridor was locked only in the first evening. Everyone has access to koridor.

Poor sleep on a warm night with no air conditioning. The fan supplied was of little use. Room and hotel were clean and in a good location. Food at the evening meal and breakfast was good at adjacent Brewers Fayre.

We stayed at Crossways to watch the finish of this race. The staff were excellent, very helpful, whatever their role. The beds are very comfortable and the room is clean. Would certainly stay here again as very convenient for various places in South Wales.
Spent 2 nights and slept like a log. Clean and fresh, airy rooms. Food in restaurant was very good. We were a large group and Nadine was very patient. Meals came out correct and hot. Breakfast was also excellent, again food was very enjoyable and Cath couldn't have been more pleasant. Not the first time we have stayed here and definitely won't be the last. Would highly recommend

Very freindly staff on reception which took a little extra time booking in due to new system but very good service. Rooms were clean and tidy. If you need your room cleaned you need to ask before 1200 at reception there is a notice posted in reception and by stairs. Breakfast at nearby Brewers Fair was excellent.

Temperature in the room was unbearable and we had a fan but couldn't sleep. Beds were uncomfortable and the WiFi was awful - really intermittent. Very frustrating when my husband had work to do. We won't be staying there again. Children's beds were like hardboard .

Premier Inn is pretty much the same layout wherever you go but the lady on Reception was the most helpful, kindest ever. She was amazing and our room was spotlessly clean including the ensuite (the shower was gorgeous - clean, hot water and a decent spray head). I would stay here again.Rooms: Spotlessly clean

Bit of a musty smell in the bathroom but otherwise a great room and amazing breakfast with outstanding serviceRooms: Nice, spacious and with plenty of channels but a bit musty smellNearby activities: Carefilly castle, mining experience, shoppingSafety: Rooms are keycarded, windows don't open and buildings are lockedWalkability: In one of the buildings there was no lift but I think there was special roomsFood & drinks: Great service and a large range of breakfast
