First time ordering and was very disappointed with the delivery time. It took over 2 hours for the food to arrive... BUT when it did arrive, it was hot and absolutely amazing! I can forgive the very late delivery time, because the food was delicious. I have lived in Caerphilly for 10 years and have never been satisfied with the food from the other Indian takeaways, so I am really happy to have finally found Spice Hut, because I have really missed having an Indian takeaway that delivers hot, quality, and delicious food. Perfect!

Used this Indian takeaway 4 times. Last 3 times the food has been beautiful, and this time was too, but home delivery was a nightmare. Usually comes well before the agreed time on the app order page, but from order to delivery took 2 hours last night, and the shop is a 5 minute drive away. Kept being fobbed off with ‘it’s on its way’ which clearly it wasn’t. Won’t be ordering here any more as delivery is important with disability, but if I do ever use again I’ll be collecting. So if your collecting, order as the food is delicious and authentic, but delivery, I wouldn’t bother.

Never had a bad meal from here. If you’re ordering at a busier time, it’s worth collecting from the restaurant to get the hottest food although I’ve never had issue with delivery either10/10

Hour and a half for delivery. Garlic rice was bland and basically just boiled rice, whilst the "medium" curry we ordered was so overly spicy we could barely eat it. We avoided the hot and very hot curry's for this reason, but the chef clearly messed this one up. The 2 side orders were decent enough, but overall not nearly worth the £25 it cost! If we were sat in a restaurant, some of this food would've been sent back for sure.Plenty of better Indians in the same area, avoid this one, or at least the chef who works a Sunday!

2nd time weve had food from The Spice Hut and it was just as amazing as the 1st time. We had a House special Biriyani with plain Madras Sauce. Tandoori chicken starter. Onion Bharji. keema nan and potato and cauli saag aloo. Beautiful Thank you ?

Took a punt and so glad that we did. Our first order with Spice Hut and it certainly won't be the last. The food was amazing, chicken pieces in both our curries was great quality, we had more than enough for the two of us. Our order arrived piping hot and tasted delicious. Spice Hut is now our go to for a yummylicious curry

This is the best Asian/Indian food by a long mile. Fresh tasting, superior to any other establishment in Caerphilly County. You can really taste the difference here. The fresh tasting chicken is sliced into the curry dishes, the meat is tender and aromatic, you can taste the herbs and spices. Nothing is swimming in grease.I would heartily recommend!!! Keep up the good cooking!

By far the best indian takeaway in Caerphilly. Lovely staff members, food is always of high standard and generous portions. Delivery time can be a bit longer at times if they are busy but thats expected wherever you go
