Bakeries in Cardiff

“I love this bakery!Definitely some of the best handmade cakes and pastries I’ve come across.I would highly recommend the strawberry cake (perfectly balanced with sweet cream and fresh strawberry jam, between fluffy cake layers) and the seekh kebab twist, which is packed with flavour and spices. Will be visiting again and recommending it to everyone ☺️Edit: Thank you for your lovely response. Your bakers and the staff that run the business are certainly very talented. Wish you the best of luck in the future..”

“Got there about 4.30 (they close at 5pm)They had packed away most of the food so there was very little to see. A bit disappointed if I'm honest in this particular store”

“Best pies in Cardiff and I’m quite a snob since having one, I know people say Clark’s are the same but I don’t think they are, Victoria park pies will always be our favourite. Just wish I knew when they were open but to be fair I pass at weird times, luckily they are stocked many places so we can always get our fix.”

“Come on. It's Gregg's, anything less than a five star rating and you ain't British. I have no shame in saying that after a 12hr night shift I smashed a sausage and bean melt, a cheese and onion pasty, a sausage and bacon bap with brown sauce (because I'm cultured) and a warm sausage roll, all washed down with an apple juice. The full tray of beautiful custard slices looked really appealing but getting one would've just been greedy.Vegetarian options: There's chicken sandwiches, corned beef pasties and sausage rolls, because vegetarians are as pale as the sausage meatDietary restrictions: First rule of Gregg's Club, leave your dietary restrictions at the door and live a little”

“Greggs are firmly establishing themselves as the foremost fine dining experience in the UK, however this one is take away only. Standard selection of baked sweet and savoury goods with vegan options that are almost identical (if you are a heavy smoker, close your eyes and ignore the horrid slop texture). You can't beat the breakfast roll and coffee deal for price (B4 11am) which is one of the many reasons I can't lose my covid bloat, but then again who goes to Greggs for healthy food anyway?”
