“Picked up a takeaway here tonight, tried a lot of Caribbean and african food outlets and first time with one on my doorstep, The Rocking chair.. Can't believe I missed this one! Great food guys well done.I think they do baguettes in the daytime (which I will be back for!) ?(Ex. award winning chef)”

“First visit here and very impressed. Staff were so helpful and efficient. We had an issue as the half marathon was on and some of our party were struggling to get to the restaurant because of the road closures - this was no problem for the staff who were so understanding. When we eventually got together and had our food it was exceptional and such good value for money! Will definitely be back! Thanks guys xx”

“It was fairly quiet while we were there. We only ordered 2 meals but they took almost 55 minutes to come out and when they did theSteak/chicken combo was missing the chicken ? however this was dealt with swiftly. The Caribbean chicken skewers were lovely and I would definitely chose them again. Think we will give this place another try in the hope that the long waiting time was a one off”

“Slightly weird concept - sports club/gym/spa attached to hotel. Still, room was fine, buffet breakfast was acceptable and staff were friendly. Only one issue to report... when I had finished the work I was doing in one of the function rooms there was no food left at the bar - at 2200! Blimey I was hungry. Hotel very handy for Mway.”
