Always happy after eating here. Tried the chateaudebriand for 2 this time, and was glad I did. Quite possibly the best meal I have ever had, the quality of the beef was amazing, and was cooked perfectly. Excellent service as always.

Fantastic food, drinks, and atmosphere. We live closeby and will make this our go-to pub.

Popped in yesterday for coffees just after midday with my daughters only to be told by two staff that they had no milk. Then a stony-faced man appeared (the landlord I assume) who said "There's no milk on the premises", he didn't even bother to apologise. Not exactly welcoming!

We have visited the Cefn Mably on quite a few occasions and have never been disappointed. The delightful owners & staff always make us feel very welcome & are always accommodating. The pub has a great atmosphere & the food & service is always of high standards. Would highly recommend.

Haven't had food in there in a long time but used to be very nice and prob still
Every single time we come for food it does not disappoint. It’s the cosiest pub with a five star restaurant quality feel. The food is exceptional every time, atmosphere is gorgeous and dog friendly! Would recommended this to anyone

We had never been before and were new to the area. We have three small dogs and wanted a quality meal. We booked blind and drove in heavy rain in the dark and found this charming country pub with a log burner keeping the whole place warm and creating a delightful atmosphere. We were greeted and given a nice table accommodating our dogs too.. we had a fabulous meal cooked well and home made .. it was delicious and booked a Sunday lunch on the the back of it. NYE we arrived and received great service and a fantastic Sunday roast , Pork and beef, both meals were outstanding and very satisfied with our voice and their ability to deliver top quality pub food .. well done everyone! We've visited this gastopub without any problem a number of times with our 8 year old. Ww book ahead. It's not a Harvester or Charlie Chalks / Brewers Fayre. It's a destination / occasion food establishment. As long as you understand there's no kids menu / they don't want children running round it's no problem. If you want to go to a beautiful traditional pub with great food for an occasion, this is the place for you. The landlords are traditional/ experienced. The village are very lucky to have them / the pub. A great range of real ales on tap. Good service.

Delightful meal at the Cefn Mably this week. Very high quality food, proper chips like Gran used to make. Love that they use local suppliers for produce (saw the fruit and veg delivery van in the car park). We received a lovely warm welcome from all the staff and really appreciated the calm atmosphere. We'll be back!
