Regular restaurant.The food was good but not great, it took about 20 minutes to be served which was alright. I ordered the Mixed Grill and everything was good but I asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare, and it came out medium and dry. The dessert was nice but albeit small for the price and it took longer to come out than the mains.The server we had was excellent, she met our needs to a T and was very kind. One of the best service I’ve had.The atmosphere was not great, I know this is a kid friendly restaurant but these children were running around screaming and yelling. We were a group of 11 so the table had to be big and we could not hear the person on the other end over the screaming kids.3/5

Went in for breakfast at 9.10am,it finishes at 10.30am the continental needed replenishing and the coffee machine was out of order asked twice for fruit to be replenished, it fell on deaf ears..I would suggest go i in for breakfast before 8.00am you might stand a

We had a lovely lunchtime meal here. OK, it took a bit longer to be served than we would have liked but it was quite busy so understandable. Our waitress, Gail, was a delight and treated us royally!

A nice little beefeater located just outside of Newport. The staff were super friendly and welcomed me into the restaurant quickly and to a nice clean table. The menu is currently in the throws of Christmas so there's a nice selection of different items to choose from rather than the standard beefeater fare.I was served nice and quickly with all food well presented and really well cooked. I only had a few drinks but these were well served and brought to my table super fast also. A nice Beefeater which is well worth a visit if you're in the area.

My daughter’s 28th birthday and we have dined there several occasions prior recently and she chose to celebrate there. A few family members not eaten there previously were highly impressed ? staff were extremely attentive and professional fun and inviting…only slight let down with food was a few items on menu already not available but understandable. Arranged a family Christmas get together here last night, made several calls to restaurant to check / change things, with no problems, DAN rang me to check all ok, and he was on hand last night....we had a separate area, and with 19 adults, and 5 kids, was assured no pre-ordering was needed, and although one of our party actually missed the ordering, they managed to bring all the food out correct, and all together, so no-one was left waiting...Our waitress was lovely too, though she'd only been working there 4 days!! Altogether was a fantastic night, and we were very, very well taken care of by Dan and his team, so nothing to complain about, and would definitely recommend to anyone Thanks DAN, we will sure be back to see you soon :)

Have to say this is our first time visiting a beefeater having moved to the area and it was great. The menu was extensive and drinks served quickly. We had the combo and a burger and both were excellent. Staff all friendly from the manager at door all the way through to the barman where we finished our drinks downstairs. We will be back ?

Politely asked our waitress to change the bottle of wine as it had a strange taste. Within a few minutes the Duty Manager approached us and we were wrongly accused of being impolite to her and we were asked to leave. We are elderly people and are horrified at this appalling treatment for doing nothing wrong. Our family and friends have been regulars for 20/40 years and find this absolutely shocking.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish!! Nothing was too much staff so friendly it was a perfect Christmas get together with family and fiends!!! The new boss matt went above and beyond, and our service by Michelle and ieuan was outstanding they couldnt do enough for us!! There was another lovely lady with dark hair working in the restaurant area. i didn't catch her name, but she was phenomenal also. Couldn't ask for anything better, to be honest! Thank u, coach n horses. we will be back x
