The server, Chelsea was lovely, friendly Ordered, child's rump steak ? full of gristle and fat, couldn't cut it, so a child would if definitely of struggled. First of all manager was only going to refund coffee, eventually meal was taken off.

Called at Harvester llanedeyrn 22/11 at 4:30pm as a party of 3 . Car park had 3 cars , walked in and bar completely empty and just 4 tables with customers , asked for table for 3 and after a bit of scratching head and puffing told fully booked despite looking empty. Was told tables all booked from 5pm . Fair enough , walked outside and went on mobile and was able to book a table for 3 for 5pm . Not impressed , staff looked like they couldn’t be bothered . Ah well Harvesters loss , great food instead at Three Arches pub

I went to lunch on Tuesday 5 September with two of my wotk colleagues as we were staying at the Travel Lodge next door.We made use of the 40% off online voucher celebrating 40 years of Harvester. The service we received from our waitress Carly was excellent.She was very pleasant and knowledgeable making a good food .suggestion to my mate.The food we had off the main menu came out quicly and did not dissapoint.I loved the mixed grill with everything cooked perfect. I always enjoy the free salad and the refillable soft drinks. This was my fourth visit and hopefully not the last.

Such an all-round lovely experience. Unable to use QR code to thank staff so using TA ?. We took our granddaughter for a treat and Carly, the waitress, ensured we had all the Information we needed whilst being professional and cheerful ensuring our experience was a great one - thank you Carly. The food, salad bar and dessert was also worth every penny will definitely return.

Took our grandsons for lunch. Nice clean table. Fabulous waitress named Carly, so very friendly and helpful. Ordered 2 salmon for me and my husband, only 1 available, which wasn’t really a problem, ordered an alternative. Grandsons enjoyed their burgers and we enjoyed our mains too. Salad bar was well stocked, clean. Would visit again.
Came here for a spot of light lunch whilst on our way to holiday. We shouldn’t have bothered. Looking very tired from the outside we entered and were seated in the restaurant. We ordered drinks, my partner couldn’t have a burger as there were no burger buns so had a triple stack, I had the original combo with seasoned fries. We went to the salad bar, very poor options with a lot of repeated pots of salad ( where’s the variety gone?) bread rolls were stale so we left them. When the food arrived it was just about edible. Luke warm, the seasoning for the chips had just been chucked on top of the first few chips in the pot and the rest were bland and plain. The staff were more interested in gathering and chatting at the kitchen window than attending customers. We watched the chef cook one handed the whole time we were there as he was on his mobile the whole time we were there. I went to the bathroom halfway through my meal and they were shocking! If I had gone in before we had ordered food then we would have left straight away. Disgusting, toilets with no seats, lol rolls just chucked on the side as there was no dispensers and everything was caked in dirt. They haven’t been cleaned properly in months, this wasn’t just a missed day or two these were filthy. When you then looked around the restaurant it became apparent this was a common theme. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere where. I have always enjoyed harvester restaurants and worked in one many years ago when I left school. This was so disappointing, gone is the warm friendly and attentive staff, the chefs cooking in the open windows so you can see what was happening in the kitchen, no music, dim lighting, it was like going into a morgue. Avoid and save your money. !

The place was empty, we should have turned back then! Maximum 5 tables occupied, still took a good while before anyone greeted us to sit us down. We were asked about it allergies and left to it. (Fine) then the waitress took our drinks order, came back for food order, when we went to order ‘ultimate combo’ we were then told, they can’t serve that because they have no rotisserie chicken, well thats over half of the menu, and quite frankly why most people go there! There was no alternative suggestions given to us. So we thought ‘oh well, let’s have steak’ to be told then they have no 12oz steak. The table opposite us called across after finishing their food to tell us not to bother, their experience was terrible and it was all dry. They proceeded to sit others and fail to tell them the lack of menu options! Then the staff acted shocked when we ask for the drinks bill and left. Terrible service from start to finish!

Visited the restaurant after a long break. We went a little early so that we could have a drink before dining. We were welcomed by the manager and the staff. The food was of the usual quality. Both the simply chicken and the cod and chips came with salad bowl which one filled up as required. On the whole the atmosphere and the staff were good and would visit again.

13 of us met up and enjoyed a lovely family \\u0026 friends meal here yesterday.\\n\\nIt’s a lovely harvesters- one of the older ones which we preferred, because its partially carpeted and has no large windows, sounds \\u0026 chatter doesn’t carry so it’s a lot quieter.\\n\\nThe food was delicious and piping hot on arrival- well presented and the salad bar well stocked.\\nDesserts all delicious as well especially the rocky horror !!\\n\\nOur server Sam was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, we had 2 people in our group with allergies and she was so attentive with them making sure they were catered for. So credit to Sam!!\\n\\nOverall a lovely evening, delicious food and great service *****
