Lovely atmosphere, friendly owners and amazing food! Hidden gem of Cardiff

Ordered delivery from here on Friday night and was really disappointed. I've been to the restaurant many times over the years but not since the pandemic, and I can only think they've either changed management or changed chefs now as it's really gone downhill sadly.Whilst my wife enjoyed her meat main and side, my vegetarian dishes were truly awful I'm sad to say. The foul moudamas was horrible, so salty, had no tomato, and tasted EXACTLY like one I buy out of a yellow tin... I did wonder if it was out of the same tin? My Veggie Club consisted solely of sliced onions & courgettes, with barely and aubergine or tomato in sight, even though it said it was cooked with both. I had to spoon off 7 TABLESPOONS OF OIL before I could even eat it, and even then it was drenched in oil at the bottom meaning it was inedible. I can't believe they charged nearly £17 for that dish?!I am gutted that I paid over £55 for a meal that was such poor quality and that I couldn't eat. I can not recommend based on that experience, and I'm sad the place has gone so downhill. I don't have £55 to throw away, and I'm disappointed that I did exactly that.Vegetarian options: Just don't even bother with the vegetarian options. The food was horrible, inedible, oily, salty, and not as described.

Fabulous food and great cocktails in a casual atmosphere with friendly staff. We enjoyed a family dinner (4 adults) on a Saturday evening. The menu has great options for Vegetarians and Carnivores alike. Portions are generous and all excellently prepared. Service is friendly and fast. Great cocktail menu!

Fabulous food and fabulous staff. We really enjoyed our meal here. We had a stater and main of mixed meat and we didn't go hungry. Also enjoyed the Lebanese beer which was a new experience. The staff were lovely.

My wife and I have been coming here for years and the quality never changes. We know that we are guaranteed a fabulous meal every time we come here. Everyone we have brought here have also become regular diners. We like to mix it up (as the attached pictures show) so that we get a variety of tastes and if you ever thought that the prawn cocktail is a thing of the past, well, you just haven't tried a Mina prawn cocktail. The staff are efficient and friendly, nothing is to much trouble for them. We have also had large groups of friends and family all of whom have absolutely loved the experience.Guar

Wow! We were on a winter “city break”, visiting Cardiff for the very first time. We always try to eat a cuisine new to us or go to somewhere a bit different. Mina delivered, exceeding our expectations, from the great welcome on a foul wet Sunday night through a selection of delicious mezze, main dishes and dessert. Chateau Kefraya was a perfect red wine to accompany the savoury plates and arabic coffee and a glass of arak rounded off one of the best all round dining experiences we’ve enjoyed for a long time. If we come back to Cardiff in the future we will definitely eat here again!

If u like Lebanese food this place is beautiful the food was fresh and great portions tasty and well made . Well worth a visit we will b returning definitely .Parking: Park around corner in side street or outside if ur lucky enough
