Was good but the madras sauce needed to be spicier and tastier. The mixed byriani was lovely though and a good choice and blend of flavours.

I went to mowglis on Friday night… we ordered a butter chicken, saag paneer and lamb hydrebad… the first two were far too sweet and did not taste very good. The lamb was very nice, however for the last 2 days I have had food poisoning and I think it was due to the lamb as I did not have much of the other two

First visit to Mowgli. Very enjoyable. It was an inviting restaurant. Swing seats or normal seats. Lots of twinkling lights. Very helpful staff explaining the concept of the menu. Street food, you choose a few different plates and they bring them when ready. I had the Ruby Wrap. Roti wrap with paneer cheese, pomegranate, spinach and their mowgli chutney. Delicious. Highly recommend. Mother butter chicken - delicious and the basmati rice with black cardamom. So creamy. Others at the table had Treacle tamarind fries, mowgli sticky chicken (sticky, sweet), and finally Gunpowder Chicken (very spicy). Perfect place for family, friends or on your own.

Ordered takeaway from here and was completely satisfied, having the best vegetable biryani I have had and great value for money. The staff were really friendly, helpful and quick with the order.

We had the most pleasant evening , the food was superb, Our waiter Andy was incredibly and so friendly, made our night extra special , we ordered on his recommendations we weren’t disappointed , what a lovely night , we are not from Cardiff , but can’t wait to return , we may even ask if Andy is working when we make our next reservation ????? I have been to this restaurant several times and have always had a wonderful meal. However, last night they fell short. I ordered lamb chops with roasted red and green peppers. The dish came with lamb chops only. They were beautifully cooked and delicious but the meal was very unappetising with no vegetables. I mentioned it to the owner and he said that the peppers were only an essence on the chop coating. The description on the menu clearly says "roasted red and green peppers". See my photo.
