Ivo is the best man for the job , food was great but his service made the meal ! Couldn't fault his enthusiasm, quickness and initiative. Pizza Express hosted the 9th birthday party of our granddaughter yesterday, and we were so impressed with the effort made to ensure 15 young people had a memorable afternoon. Staff were so helpful, and the children thoroughly enjoyed creating their own special pizza that they then got to eat. We all learned something from the information shared regarding the history of pizza making and also the origins of the ingredients. The children were still talking about the experience at school today!Thank you so much.Kid-friendliness: The young people absolutely loved making their own pizzas, and all came away having learned something new, but in a fun way. Thank you.

We booked a kids pizza party at Cardiff High Street. The kids and parents were thrilled with the party and would 100% recommend. Giacomo was an attentive host and really went above and beyond to make sure we all enjoyed. Fantastic kids party which my daughter loved.

We went in for my nephew's birthday. The food was great but what was even better was the staff. Really lovely and friendly. Think the pizza is one of the best in Cardiff too. Will recommend.

Not too keen on the meals we ordered. No chilli in the chilli prawns. Tasteless polenta chips. Small lasagne portion.

Service is 5*, myself and my partner had the privilege of being waited on by Ivo on our valentines meal, so very friendly, attentive and a fantastic tribute to your serving team! (He deserves a bonus!!). He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted and needed and even cracked some jokes along the way. This is now our favoruite store out of all 3 in Cardiff (it looks and feels the best too!) and we will definitely be returning!Vegetarian options: Great choice for vegetariansDietary restrictions: Can offer gluten free/coeliac optionsKid-friendliness: Great kids menus with great pricesWheelchair accessibility: All wheelchair accessible, stair lift so can access of all restaurant.

Absolutely favourite pizza express in Cardiff High street. Food was superb cooked by Head Chef-Marcin, who has worked there for so many years. Food was incredible and arrived quickly even restaurant was so busy. Our server Ivo was so friendly and made some great recommendations. Can't wait to come back soon!

Very friendly staff and prompt service. However, the small pizzas arrived barely warm with minimal topping on, which we’d paid extra for. The back of the restaurant was cold and people were sat at the tables with coats on.

Food was great, I do wish the pizzas were bigger and thicker, but still very nice! Kids menu was great - all very similar to other Pizza Express.What I would say about this venue is the staff! I have no idea if they are one big family or all just get on so well! The manager is constantly present, and the staff are just the most amazing people! So attentive and friendly! Not so much with your food, but with you! Hard to describe really!My boy had is 11th birthday meal there, and they entire front staff sung to him! Manager included. They were literally the sweetest people I’d ever met, and so genuine! Trust me when I say you can tell!Definitely coming back - and very soon!
