Very rude staff. Ordered a "Too good to go" bag, which was cancelled only 17 minutes before the pick up time. TGTG policy states that shops may cancel up up two hours before, not 17 minutes. When I complained that I had had a wasted journey (since I'd already left by the time they cancelled) they sarcastically replied it won't be wasted if you buy something. Won't be going here again.

Came here for the first time with friends yesterday and I must say, we won’t be returning. Very disappointing lunch. Everything is overpriced for what it is and there is not much choice. There were flies in the sandwiches under open glass unit and drinks were underwhelming AND over priced too. Not worth the money at all.

Lovely place for a quiet coffee - not too expensive price wise. The cakes and smoothies a definite must.

Pretty good choice of the basics. Obviously, it's a convenience, so it's always a bit more expensive, young staff in there but they are always polite and pretty helpful, sometimes the fruit and veg can look a bit tired because the turnover isn't so high.

The staff are great. If you take your own mug you get 25 pence off. I have ate there previously and the food is delicious. Lovely environment with the dogs. Good place to take your dog as they have doggy treats. Its near where I live and is always buzzing. Very nice environment.

A little bit style over substance.. visited with my nephew there was absolutely nothing “kid friendly” apart From cakes but we actually wanted a bite of lunch. There was a sandwich menu on the top of the counter that didn’t correlate with what was in the fridge so I asked if those sandwiches were made to order.. (I figured I could ask them to do just a small ham sandwich for my nephew) but got told no everything’s that’s available is in the fridge in quite a curt manner. We did have cakes and coffee but feel It was quite over priced for what we had.

First visit. Myself, my husband and our 4 year old arrived, late morning on a very wet Wednesday. We had an amazing, warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, despite them being very busy. Great coffee and choice of snacks. Thanks again

Expensive but low quality grocery items, very rude staff. First time visit as work nearby, but no, will never go again.

What a brilliant place! Visited with a friend for the first time on Friday, just for a coffee, loved the look of the cakes. Was back on Saturday with husband and Labrador for a lovely sourdough toastie after a walk in Pontcanna park. Will become a regular!

We often visit Coffee Lab. There is a good choice of pastries and nice coffee. Dog friendly, hence the name.

Excellent coffee in nice venue..seemed very popular. Cakes looked good but didnt try on this occasion. We would happily return. Beautiful cathedral just up the road.

I recently visited for the first time with my partner who has Coeliacs and therefore has to follow a gluten free diet. There were lots of lovely looking cakes on display, that looked freshly baked, however the only gluten free cakes were in sealed plastic and were like the ones we buy in the supermarket - nothing special. We were offered low gluten cake, but low gluten is no good - it's the equivalent of offering someone with a peanut allergy a cake containing just a few peanuts. Luckily there are other cafes in Llandaff that serve gluten free cakes so we just went elsewhere.
