Do not recommend! This place has rapidly declined in the last couple of years. The staff do not want to be there as its obvious with their attitude especially to customers. Ever the floor managers couln't care less. As we sat a young waitress asked our order and we asked kindly for a few more minutes as we hadn't even opened our menus yet. She sighed and walked off. Once we had given our order and waited, we could see that other tables kept receiving and returning their orders as they were incorrect. This did not give us hope. As we waited more that 40 minutes for our food with no check for drink refills or to let us know that our food wont be much longer [common decency for hospitality]. My partner and I decided that we no longer wish to dine here and got up to inform the waitress - who was slumped over the counter - that we are leaving and to cancel our order. She then snapped and said 'You cant do that, Your food will be out now.' I must note on this that the restaurant was not inundated with customers and no-one seemed to be rushed off their feet. All the staff seemed to have a 'don't care' kind of attitude. Another note is the price increase with the menu including charging an additional £1 for each sauce. Do not try to write this off as inflation with the stock or with suppliers as the price increase is just pure greed.

Visited twice during December and they had run out of loads of drinks on both occasions.Second occasion we were a party of 8 and was unable to sit together even though there was plenty of tables.All our meals came out wrong and the managers attitude was awful, he was so rude.Food has gone down hill over the years, portion sizes are like a childs portion and over priced.

I had spoken to andy for re-booking a reservation he was so down to earth and polite over the phone on arriving at tgi Fridays andy greeted us and he really made us feel so welcome, highly professional service and really tasty food superb quality and I highly recommend this tgi Fridays.All staff members were awesome including Lewis our server and nick the general manager.Thanks guys for making me and my sons experience amazing ??Kid-friendliness: Every member of staff who served us were superb.Big thanks to Lewis, Andy & Nick

Every Month I take my Family to Cardiff and we choose a different place to eat. December was my choice and I opted for one of my all time favs TGI Fridays. Firstly the music was so loud my lad was complaining that it was making his head vibrate. I asked a member of staff if it could be turned down and was told NO. We ordered drinks which arrived in good time, ordered the food it arrived reasonably quick. My Daughter realised that the ceramic pot that the slaw arrived in was cracked, I told a member of staff who shrugged and walked off without a word. I then spoke with Lucas who quickly got it changed for us. As the food was delivered I ordered another Coffee, nearly 30 minutes go by and nothing, I noticed that the bar staff were more interested in talking and messing around when drinks orders were being handed to them at a fast pace. So for the 3rd time I asked if my Coffee was ready, it turned up cold because it was sat on the bar and I had to send it back. The food was ok, my lad loved his Hotdog and my Daughter loved the Maple Fries. I shared my burger with my children and they both said it was dry and rubbery. I was so close to turning into a full on Karen and asking for a Manager, then I realised that there were so many issues that my complaints would fall on deaf ears. I had a discount voucher for 20% off, but 20% was not taken off the bill and when I asked why I was told that the till was at fault. We left and all agreed that we will lot come to this location again to eat.

Having previously loved coming to tgi’s I was honestly shocked after visiting a few days ago. This place was known for massive meals and a real treat for special occasions. After a rubbish year we decided to treat ourselves and come in for lunch before a busy day shopping only to find the prices were extortionate and the portion sizes were tiny. My mother had a chimichanga priced at around £20 only to be served a tiny barely filled wrap and some salsa and guacamole around the sides. I myself had a burger and it was nothing special, not like it used to be as tgi’s always used to have the best burgers. After being loyal customers for years we won’t be returning and left that day disappointed, still feeling hungry and wishing we’d gone to slim chickens.

During Christmas it’s very crazy atmosphere but here everyone is very calm.My sister and I were struggling to find allergy information on a dish and the manager Andy gladly came over to discuss it through with us which was very helpful and I’m very grateful of his time while we were deciding what to have.Brilliant atmosphere and team work with our waitress Emily who advised us to us speak to Andy.Dietary restrictions: Great options for vegans and are a nut free store.
My partner and I came in came in for a 5 year anniversary dinner for us and also the 2 year anniversary of my mums death. This was supposed to be a very sentimental dinner for the both of us especially being so my mother was a loyal customer of this ‘establishment’ and it was her most loved place. However we walked away completely disappointed, disheartened and disgusted. I have never been so distraught over a dinner. The food took such a long time to arrive I may as well have gone over to Nando’s for dinner and by the time I return I would still be waiting for my food. I now know to order the day before if I want it on time. As for the food, the burger my partner ordered was so hard she almost chipped her tooth biting in to it and as for my loaded ‘fries’ (more like loaded soup) were so off putting I don’t think I will ever be able to eat any sort of chips again. Just so everyone’s aware, the BOGOF cocktails are an absolute joke as well. £16. I could make my own cocktails for cheaper and they would be 50x better than the ones here. You might notice it’s raining today. That would be my mum crying down from the heavens on how disappointed she is from my experience last night.

We booked a table and were seated straight away. Within 5 minutes, our server Jacob came over to take our orders. He was really helpful, polite, and easy to speak to. He looked after us and we had another amazing time at TGI's, can't wait to come again!

In the past this was a nice chain restaurant to stop off at with the family.Whether management has changed in the last 6-12 months or some other change has happened internally the service has gone dismally.Twice we have booked food here and found that there is still an astronomical wait at the entrance despite having a timeslot. Leading us to leave on both occasions and find somewhere else.The food was good before so I can only rate it from prior experiences, but the service and management of the restaurant has taken a drastic dive.
